Have you been to Mexico? (Not counting tourist areas.) It's a violent place. Entire towns of normal people have erected walls and roadblocks to keep outsiders out with armed locals; semi-trucks in the wrong area are hijacked Mad Max style; hostage taking is well-known; killing fields / hidden mass cemeteries surprise no one.
Peaceful protests are near pointless. So they don't protest much. But when they do, they know what to expect. They've had multiple armed revolutionary campaigns in recent decades. Normal good people don't want to kill or destroy stuff, but they have their breaking points. President's recent comments don't support the normal good people.
This was clearly organized. But by who? And where will it end? Hard to tell.
This is nothing but a deep state ploy to push for massive surveillance and monitoring!

The Mexican civilians should have rioted long before their govt. violated their human right to self defense by outlawing civilian gun ownership. Now, only the outlaws have the guns, and the nation has suffered under violent cartel oppression for decades.

Sometimes, fo careful action is needed to affect real change. There ha snever been a revolution that didn't include violence. Our Founding Fathers understood this deeply. The People of Mexico have been fodder for BOTH the ruling political parties AND the Cartels. I can't blame them for protesting in this manner. I hope they're prepared for the Cartel backlash that's sure to come.
