A former Sec of Navy offed himself because they accused him of wearing an undeserved V on a ribbon from Viet Nam. It was later shown he was correct in wearing it. Unlikely this one has any honor . (ie :Bluementhal)
He wasnt the sec def. He was the Chief of Naval Operations. That was the official line. It in fact was something else. That admiral started as an enlisted man. His name was Admiral Boorda. It may astonish some, and it makes more sense now, we had a rumor he was compromised by a foreign gov (now i realize it may be epstein) amd he suicided or was suicided because he wouldnt cooperate from his postition. Who knows. Bit he sure didnt kill himself over a ribbon.
I have such a hard time trying to understand how any former military person can be associated with the Democrat party! I have a hard time trying to understand why anyone over the age of 40 can still vote for Democrats, but when they have a military background, it seems insane.
I just buried a silver star vet, I am his daughter. Most of our ancestors came from Scots, we avoided war, we just wanted to be left alone. We are still looking for the turks or his family that helped an 18 teen year old lead a group of UN soldiers out of North Korea in the 1950s.
The metals tell us what campaign one was ordered to support and what levels of training achieved. I still am wondering what all the that were awarded to my Dad mean.
So when someone is sloppy with displaying his metals I have to disrespect them.
I don’t know, I was just family and we all had a code of conduct. I remember cleaning the tops of doors for white glove inspection before leaving for another post. Of course summer camps were awesome, we had the best instructors on how to throw and land each other. Thank you all that gave us kids the best summer camps. The jump towers were awsome.

I wonder if he was the idiot in the Gulf War that I almost blew out of the sky. The F-14 did an intercept on the lead aircraft to its six. I dropped my tanks and engaged. IFF mode 1 bad, mode 2 bad, mode 3 bad, mode 4 good. That crew was lucky my WSO was really fast.
