The 2026 midterms are going to be critical. They're seen as a referendum on Trump and his policies. Dems are banking on energizing their base through fear and loathing. The GOP establishment, which is the other half of the Uniparty is getting ready to throw their elections. They're going to lose because they can't take out Trump, so they're hoping they can align with the Democrats and get rid of him in order to re-establish themselves as the controllers of the Republican party. Trump is well aware of this.
I suspect Trump has had DOGE working non-stop to uncover fraud. Some things Trump and co. can fix. Some things they need public attention to move a solution. Others require Congress, which means they will not be completed this year. Johnson and Thune just won't get on the team. The margins are just too narrow. We can't get Collins, Murkowski, Turtle, and Paul to be team players. In the House, it just takes 2-3 to turn coat. Massie reliably does this, and there are plenty of other opportunists.
This means:
Trump has to work through executive orders. He's not getting help from Congress.
Trump will use personal relationships and trade deals, since he has broad authority over international treaties
Trump has limited control over the military and limited control over the intel agencies. Neither can be counted on.
If you're Trump, and you're systematically stopped by the entirety of the Washington bureaucracy, you have to negotiate with the people. So, he's going to keep leaking tidbits to journalists, YouTubers, streamers, etc. He'll point them in the right direction and let the citizen journalists do the work. They dig it up. We amplify it here and elsewhere. Trump uses social media as the ultimate bully pulpit. When he wants to attract enemy fire, he puts his name on it. When he wants it to spread rapidly, he lets someone else without the name recognition push it.
We're going to see non-stop leaks about Epstein, about fraud, corruption, the whole nine yards all the way up to the Elections. Drip, drip, drip. More every week, carefully parceled out to do maximum damage to the Uniparty.
Reading this shit just gives me a belly ache, and gas. I have lost faith in the filth that governs us. President Trump is working his butt off, trying to show us some truth.
