Since we already have Thule air base in the far north, and Denmark just provides some welfare checks to the very small population, isn't it kind of ours to begin with? Denmark only says it belong to them because we've never said otherwise.

Go see online what the town of Kotzebue Akaska is like. Now imagine all Greenland as being like that but with huge areas of nothing here and there. Yet I don't wish for annexation prosperity to completely change all of Greenland. Its a whole different world there. If we can just manage to "be there" without being obscenely disrespectful. That will matter a lot. Making fun of a culture that uses dog sleds, is not really productive. Ever been on a dog sled? I have. I have seen enough life with a culture that is not mainstream and in land harsher than we are used too. It gets in your blood. Reserve your judgements. If you have pioneer spirit in you somewhere, you will need it if you move to Greenland.
