A team of Chinese scientists has discovered that the spread of cancer from the original tumors to distant organs may be due to chemotherapy triggering the reactivation of dormant cancer cells...

Their findings shed light on why breast cancer patients can experience metastasis to organs such as the lungs, despite successful treatment of their primary tumors.

The team also found that using specific drugs in combination with chemotherapy could inhibit this process in mice, and a clinical trial is already underway in breast cancer patients.

"We demonstrated that chemotherapeutic drugs, such as doxorubicin and cisplatin, increase the proliferation and lung metastasis of dormant breast cancer cells," the team wrote in a paper published in the peer-reviewed journal Cancer Cell on July 3.

"This study provides direct evidence of the reactivation of latency and reveals an underlying mechanism for the detrimental effect of chemotherapy on metastasis, highlighting potential strategies to improve cancer treatment."

Researchers in the United States previously discovered that high doses of radiotherapy for treating cancer could, paradoxically, promote the growth of metastatic tumors. Many patients who undergo chemotherapy to treat primary tumors (the original site of the tumor in the body where cancer cells begin to develop) may suffer cancer relapse in other organs even after complete regression of the primary tumor.

This has led to research into whether chemotherapy may have a similar paradoxical effect, in which it treats the primary tumors while triggering cancer metastasis.

"It is postulated that the reactivation, or awakening, of dormant disseminated tumor cells (DTCs) in distant organs results in metastatic relapse after the asymptomatic period," the team stated.

Studies have shown that disseminated cancer cells, which travel from primary tumors to other parts of the body, can be present even during the early stages of primary cancer formation, according to a press release from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

These cells can remain in a dormant state for years, during which they do not grow or multiply, allowing them to evade chemotherapy. Researchers had previously identified molecular mechanisms that regulate metastatic relapse and disseminated cancer cell latency. However, it has remained unclear whether metastasis is due to the reactivation of dormant cells or the growth of rare, non-dormant disseminated cells.

Of note, lung cancer according to German New Medicine derives from fear of death. Hence why it’s a common metastasis according to western medicine. Go into treatment after learning you may be dying, fear of dying kicks in. Food for thought.

I guess I’ve read too much because I now refuse to get mammograms. Reasons why: Mammograms can indeed cause more problems than they solve, as they have several drawbacks: Radiation exposure. Mammograms involve ionizing radiation, which can increase the risk of developing breast cancer. 12 Compression risk. The compression of the breast during the procedure may lead to the spread of cancer cells. 12 High rate of false positives. Many mammograms result in unnecessary biopsies and other invasive procedures. 14 High rate of false negatives. Mammography may miss tumors, especially in women under 40 with dense breast tissue. 14 Estrogen distortion. Estrogen replacement therapy can obscure mammogram results, leading to false positives and false negatives. 1 Despite these issues, mammograms are still considered effective in detecting significant breast abnormalities, although their effectiveness is still under debate. 3

I've NEVER had a mammogram Boonies..for the reasons you listed...

Good, I’m glad I’m not alone in distrusting the narrative. I’ve read that ultrasounds are a better way to detect possible tumors.

I know mammograms are bad for women plus all has to do with X-rays or scanners. They give you radiation so eventually it will give you cancer.,

There are much safer methods. Thermal imaging for one. The problem; insurance won't cover it. I wonder why?

Yup. Mammograms feed the same cancer industry. Irradiate breast tissue enough times and it will induce a cancer - especially in those already predisposed who they recommend to start the process earlier. Absolutely disgusting and evil.

I knew they raised cancer risk and that the severe breast compression, in addition to being (I assume) painful might spread cancer cells, but hadn't heard of or thought much about the several other things you mentioned, BooniesRedneck. Wow.

"Cut, Poison, and Burn" -- the three widely approved and clearly and LITERALLY HARMFUL methods of "treating" cancer patients.

The huge numbers of cancer deaths (a half-century after Nixon's "War on Cancer") is proof that these methods are, in MANY cases, NOT very effective.

Surgery: In addition to the obvious harm of creating a WOUND by cutting into the patient's body -- not to mention the sometimes-lethal side effects of anesthesia and surgery itself -- surgery can release and spread cancer cells, leading to metastases. Recovery can be painful and negatively impact quality of life in other ways.

Chemo is well-known for wrecking one's quality of life (and for often being ineffective), but by damaging cells throughout the body it can also increase the odds of relapse or of new cancers in the future.

Radiation CAUSES CANCER, as has been known for a century or so. Sometimes that risk is worth the potential benefits, but the risk is real -- and so are the other side-effects, ranging from pain to damage of targeted or nearby organs.

Biopsies do the same.

– Narg 2 points 150 days ago +2 / -0

Yes. Biopsies have their dangers. EVERYTHING, without exception, has dangers, and deciding which dangers are worth the risk for us personally is something we all must do; it can't be avoided.

Mammograms -- as you know, I'm sure -- also cause cancer (because radiation damages human cells, which raises the statistical risk of getting cancer).

These freaks know exactly that, they know if they do the surgery and open you, you probably will die. I saw it with one of our dogs, they open him and not even two days after he died of cancer in his neck. They are demons in disguise as “doctors”

That’s why I stopped doing mammograms in 2019. I was feeling that the all fiasco of doing this crap was not good for me. Plus I get more sick with congestions when I do any X-rays or scans. Thank you Lord for waking me up.

*They will be blanketed by poisons everywhere they turn.

The soft metals will cause them to lose their minds. We will promise to find a cure from our many fronts, yet we will feed them more poison.

The poisons will be absorbed trough their skin and mouths, they will destroy their minds and reproductive systems.

From all this, their children will be born dead, and we will conceal this information.

The poisons will be hidden in everything that surrounds them, in what they drink, eat, breathe and wear.

We must be ingenious in dispensing the poisons for they can see far.

We will teach them that the poisons are good, with fun images and musical tones.

Those they look up to will help. We will enlist them to push our poisons.

They will see our products being used in film and will grow accustomed to them and will never know their true effect.

When they give birth we will inject poisons into the blood of their children and convince them its for their help.

We will start early on, when their minds are young, we will target their children with what children love most, sweet things.

When their teeth decay we will fill them with metals that will kill their mind and steal their future.

When their ability to learn has been affected, we will create medicine that will make them sicker and cause other diseases for which we will create yet more medicine.

We will render them docile and weak before us by our power.

They will grow depressed, slow and obese, and when they come to us for help, we will give them more poison.*

Chemo has a kill rate of between 60 and 68 percent.

If you have cancer, you can survive it with various remedies, which DO NOT INCLUDE chemo and radiation.
