Read 'Family of Secrets by Russ Baker. It's the unauthorized biography of the Bush crime family. A number of chapters are dedicated to spelling out how Nixon was set up by HW Bush and the CIA to take the fall for the Watergate scandal.
Okay, no. The scandal being a hoax? Sure, I'll buy that. But nixon did a lot of wrong. Ended Bretton woods and opened up the Fiat faucet. Affirmative action. Started epa which like all good intentions has led to "unintended" consequences from creating conditions to allow mass posionings via not having a chemical regulated that needs to be, to ending livelihoods for not protecting some obscure Rodent.
Honestly? Feels bad for him, but he did a lot to fuck up America by supporting bad policies built on good intentions. The reality is most of his errors are only now showing themselves to be properly damaging to the nation
I lost my job of 12 years because the city wouldn't let us expand out warehouse intoa field behind us. Apparently tly theres some bug that lives there. Thanks. Ruined 100s of our lives.
Forced the world onto the petro-dollar, faked all 4 moon landings, and crawled into bed with the CCP. Don't even get me started on Kissinger. There were worse Presidents than Nixon (Woodrow Wilson, FDR, obama and biden), but I definitely wouldn't consider him great. Great Presidents don't quit.
There were six moon landings. The Apollo Mission began in 1967 under LBJ. The first alleged manned rockets that flew to the moon and back did so in1968 when Johnson was President.
Drew’s flags, spelling of “honourable”, and dubious definition of “right wing” show him to be from Australia or elsewhere in the Anglosphere besides the USA:
Joint Chiefs of Staff systematically spied on him and attempted to undermine him as part of a right wing plot against his government. “
The Joint Chiefs of Staff were angry over Nixon’s de-escalation of the Vietnam War. Foreign military adventurism is big-government leftism, not right wing. Leftist Democrat LBJ was the one who escalated the number of Americans in Vietnam from 16,000 when he took over from JFK in November 1963 to 543,000 at the end of 1968, the end of LBJ’s term. Vietnam was the Democrats’ war, and it was the left wing military industrial complex that sought to perpetuate the war at Nixon’s expense.
Bob Woodward has been running his mediocre "journalism" career off the back of that story and now makes money as a TDS merchant.
I've been hoping he is exposed for the hack he is and that he sees it happen in real time.
50+yrs of "This is as big as Watergate!", king of the one liner.
Wooward had no career before his report on Watergate. Nixon once said " Johnson and I both wanted to be president. I wouldn't kill for it tho."
He was correct. Nixon was raised as a Quaker...
I've actually been to his boyhood home, very simple.

Possibly, but the cabal ALWAYS takes something with good intentions and twists it to make "the road to hell paved with" them.
It's all about the choices we make.

He probably didn’t make the petrodollar deal out of a position of strength.
They had his head over a basket.

Nixon. Did. Nothing. Wrong.
So it was good he took us off the gold standard?
Make it make sense.

Yes it was a set up and wrap around smear.
He did not deserve the treatment he got, esp. after bowing out of the 1960 election which he won, to prevent discord in the nation.
[Yet he had some less than conservative policies.]
And he got us out of the Vietnam planned-to-be-forever War.
Did you guys know that RIchard Nixon was a friend and mentor to Donald Trump?
He told him about the DC political landscape/swamp/quagmire and all the bullshit cliques etc.
I just found this out a few weeks ago...Makes a lot of sense.

Yes...they corresponded... here's some of their letters.

Nixon was a deep state scumbag.
Nixon was framed by a manufactured Watergate nontroversy.
Both things can be true.
Wasn't he at bohemian grove?
Yes, there is a photo of him together with Reagan at the grove long before either were president.
I saw that a very long time ago.

Otherwise, it’s a decent article.
Nixon - The environmental and safety President.
