Maine is an awful place to live now. I want out. The bills they are pushing through take away more and more rights and get absolutely no attention.

I know what you mean about the sane side. I had to work up there when a new datacenter was being build to take advantage of the cheap hydropower. Sometimes I had to fly into SeaTac and drive east (assuming the stupid "passes" were not snowed over. Then other times I'd fly into Spokane. It was a night and day difference.
I'm not sure I could live up there though - I'd have basically zero representation in Washington - either one of them.

Close enough to Idaho to share similar values. and far enough from Spokane. My wife and i are soon to inherit a 40 acre piece up there. Sad story but such is life. I read your post after I posted mine. I certainly hope that is not the case-if Trump wants citizens voting then I think he will see through the "smoke-screen" if Susan Collins is doing something stupid like that (at least I hope so).

Was just telling someone Collins at least seems to reflect the will of her constituents. Maine Republicans who elect Senators like her and Olympia Snow are not like Republicans in other parts of the country. They're certainly not conservatives. Murkowski never acts on the best interest of Alaskan Republicans.
