"Operation Fast and Furious wasn't some "botched sting" like the fake news wants you to swallow. It was a deliberate, calculated Deep State gun-walking op run straight out of Obama's DOJ under Eric Holder, and Barry Soetoro - RENEGADE himself was right at the top calling the shots or at minimum green-lighting the whole treasonous mess.
They let thousands of high-powered weapons "walk" across the border to Mexican cartels—AKs, Barrett .50 cals, the works—knowing well those guns would end up killing people. And they did. Border Agent Brian Terry was gunned down with one of those traced-back Fast and Furious weapons. Hundreds of Mexicans slaughtered too. Blood on their hands, full stop.
Obama? He wasn't some hands-off bystander. This was his administration, his Attorney General, his ATF running the show. When Congress started digging, what did they do? Holder got held in contempt—first sitting AG ever—and Obama swooped in with executive privilege to shield the docs. Why hide it if it was just a "mistake"? Exactly. They stonewalled, covered up, and let patriots take the fall while protecting the real criminals at the top.
This wasn't about tracking guns; it was about pushing the anti-2A narrative—flood the streets with American weapons, blame the flow on "lax" U.S. gun laws, then scream for more control. Classic false flag playbook to disarm We the People. Obama oversaw it all, just like he oversaw the drones, the wars, the spying, the arming of terrorists—you name it.
Holder said "we've got to brainwash people" on guns. Fast and Furious was part of that sick agenda. And when the bodies piled up, they lied, denied, and pointed fingers everywhere but the White House.
HERE is an IDEA. "The Deep State History Month" where we remember ALL their Contributions to EVERY level of crime! Probably best to start with 2008 to 2016 then work backwards. I,m tired already!
I can't really see the Contras being the same as arming Mexican cartels. Too many qualitative differences to lump them together that way, and the 2nd amendment angle doesn't match.
The purpose of the Contras was relatively well defined, and did not expand beyond that to my knowledge. If you have evidence that the Contras were used against the U.S. or morphed into something other than an anti-Sandinista force, I'd be interested to see it.
I've seen a lot of negative revisionism of the Reagan years, and while I'll admit that the mujahedeen in Afghanistan turned into a problem later, I don't think it's fair to say that about the Contras. Over time we've had problems in the US from gangs that are Salvadoran, Mexican, Venezuelan (lol: autocorrect really wanted that to be vegetarian gangs), Colombian and even Brazilian; practically anything but Nicaraguan. I believe the Contras contained Nicaraguan evil so that it stayed within its borders, and that we'd have seen greater problems without them.
Not really trying to convince you, but just wanted to register my disagreement about lumping them together in the same category. I think that if we had not checked the Sandinistas, we'd have seen Nicaragua evolve into another hub for launching anti-U.S. activity like how Venezuela did.
You may be right about this. The part that was compelling was "practically anything but Nicaraguan. I believe the Contras contained Nicaraguan evil so that it stayed within its borders, and that we'd have seen greater problems without them."
I haven't dug deeply into the Contra affair. From what I understand, Congress passed laws prohibiting the funding of Contras so Reagan sold arms to Iran and diverted the funds to Contras. Do you think this was deep state trying to hobble Reagan's ability to contain Nicaraguan Cabal assets?
What about the other side of the equation - selling arms to Iran? Didn't that directly fuel the Iran Iraq war?
In anycase, if there was one action of foreign "inerference" by US that actually helped the country rather than turn the country into a socialist dictator hellhole, it makes me happy. I do hope this is what happened in Nicaragua
My take is that Congress, working for the DS, was facilitating Nicaragua's communist takeover, and Reagan ignored them, or at least turned a blind eye as the military ignored them. While they didn't stop them entirely, as Nicaragua has gone back and forth since then, they meaningfully checked the DS-Communist power projection.
I think the Iranians would've got the weapons from someone anyway, and it was simply a convenient opportunity to get large amounts of untracked funds. I don't know that for a fact, but it's my guess.
In principle I agree that we shouldn't be funding foreign military or guerillas anywhere. But it was certainly an issue of coordinated encroachment funded by other nations against the U.S., and an expedient response by Reagan. It'll be great once Central Americans and other smaller countries around the world can have options beyond the extremes of a right wing military strongman or a socialist tyrant.
BTW, this also explains something I had stumbled upon when looking at the Contra briefly a while ago. Some of the names of people involved in exposing it was actually people connected to the DS. A bit like CIA MkUltra was exposed by Rockefeller commission.
Your theory explains this better. Thanks again for sharing this.
The similarity doesn't have anything to do with the second amendment. The similarity is destabilizing Mexico and greater Central America. Creating conditions for the rise of MS-13 and other narco gangs to infiltrate the United States through LAX border policy. To eventually act as a mercenary army against the American people in the 16-year plan to destroy America.
I disagree that the Nicaraguan Contras destabilized Central America, or that they were ever likely to be used against the U.S. Instead, they were reacting to the already-advanced destabilization from the Communist power grab of the Sandinista regime.
Circumstantial evidence to support this is that, despite the Contras funding over many years, none of the dangerous U.S. gangs are Nicaraguan.
This is relatively old history so it's probably not worth a big debate, but just wanted to register my disagreement on the topic.
What didn’t this treasonous MF Renegade didn’t do to this country and the world? I am not a person of hate, however this won the gold medal of hate.
Remember Iran Contra Affair? They picked a good looking guy with a nice smile... I don't remember his name... something North... and gave arms to Iran. Fast forward to today and guess who? Iran!!! Fast and Furious... picked the colored man so we couldn't say anything bad... and gave arms to Mexico. Biden gave arms to Afghanistan. This time, got some American soldiers offed so it would provide news coverage to make the "problem" look smaller.
Honestly, thats been obvious since day one. Espescially since one of paddocks (mamdalay bay)airplanes was likely involved with fast and furious. Rwonwere tracked and one ended up in San diego renumbered the other in a quit part of virginia under a false company run by the clowns.

“We’re gonna need a second month!”
I like it! There's multiple issues to cover each day, so we better make it a month with 31 days. Probably need an hourly drop each of those days, too.
Same as what they were doing with the Contras.
They even released a movie series "Fast and the Furious" to make sure the name get lost. Like BLM.

Here is the commonality: Illegally arming a foreign group of people for whatever purposes the elites wanted.
The purpose of the Contras was relatively well defined, and did not expand beyond that to my knowledge. If you have evidence that the Contras were used against the U.S. or morphed into something other than an anti-Sandinista force, I'd be interested to see it.

to be fair every president after Nixon did that because they thought it was custom.
