I'm torn with how to feel about all this. Obviously getting rid of a totalitarian radical Islamic regime is a good thing, but this is just going to bolster Israel's geopolitical power in the region, and it just seems like US taxpayers funding another one of Israel's wars.
It seems like the ones to benefit most from this regime change are going to be Israel, but it's western money and blood paying for it.
Possibly, but Iran has been their number one reason for support from the US. Peace in the Middle East would remove the need for so much Israeli support. PresidentTrump seems to have allied the US with many of the middle Eastern countries.
The mullahs are the quintessential "only a cleric can interpret the word of God" overbearing clergy types.
The Ayatollahs are the leaders of the clerics and use the military and secret police to keep the population in line through fear and brutality. The Ayatollahs actually make western facists look mild by comparison.
The best possible thing right now would be for the Iranians to realize that there should be no one between them and God.
