Kinda genius if you think about it. Shut down the mid east oil markets, due to Iran instability and increase world exports of American oil to increase revenues and tarrifs..

I would rather use domestic resources for domestic demand, keeping prices reasonable accordingly.
Domestic producers in MHO should NOT sell at global prices due to shortages elsewhere! We should not have to pay global prices for our own energy!!
American families deserve no less, and there is the fact that energy IS a national security necessity.
Put tariffs or charges on EXPORTED energy so that producers gain nothing from the global price, at least until all domestic demand and national security needs are met at the reasonable prices that energy independence means.
SHEESH global trade should not be used against us! America First!!
I think it’s more about putting a hurt on China. Same with Venezuela. Supplying oil and laundering money.
Domestic oil has no tariff, just sayin'. Domestic food has no tariffs. Domestic goods have no tariff. Etc. Just sayin'.

Literally thought about this before. Can’t say it out loud and have people think negatively about things that may not be true. But yea it makes sense. And it’s America first ideals, lol. Same with the attacks Iran has made to all its neighbors. I mean who the heck would do that? Look at Ukraine. Willing to bet some body parts some folks under the initials “see I ehh” know how to launch drones and missiles. And cause escalation. Iran is probably like, “who tf is doing that!!”
President Trump does not want to do any damage to Kharg Island because it would take a lot of money and effort to restore it to a prewar capacity. He wants the Iranian people to use the proceeds from the sale of its oil to help themselves. Bomb all the military targets he can, but leave vital infrastructure alone.
I was thinking he's maybe using the crisis as a way of lifting Russian sanctions and letting them rejoin the world.
