I'm from Chicago where one of the biggest school fires in history took place. At the time, fire safety was not a priority. The result was devastating.
I have talked to some of the survivors of that fire. Believe me when I tell you it affected their entire lives. It ruined their community. The injured spent years in the hospital and some still have lingering issues.
They buried the dead in a memorial plot in a local suburban cemetery. Even after all these years there's still a lingering sadness in the air.
And now we have state of the art fire prevention methods and this STUPID teacher bars the door because of Illegal immigrants???
I remember well that fire. Years later while visiting friends in chicago we happened to pass by where it happened feeling that devastation again. That teacher needs to be fired immediately for child endangerment. Maybe even kidnapping.
Absolutely. Gross incompetence is no excuse. To be able to feel this entitled is unbelievable. If she was a danger to only herself is one thing; To put the lives of the children under her care is unacceptable.
That’s intentional endangerment. In Ireland that’s a minimum of 5 years in jail, preventing an effective escape route for children would be a maximum sentence.

Should she be charged with interfering with law enforcement? No, but she and the school should be charged for endangerment by breaking fire code.
