Swalwell was a threat to the Dems' control of California. He was unelectable but his 11% of the vote threatened to allow no Dem to make it to the general election. He refused to step aside for the good of the party and they are punishing him for it.
The best case scenario here would be for him to turn his ire against those who are destroying him and rat out the Left's behind the scenes playbook for all to see.
This makes sense. It would also explain the timing of the Fang Fang news. It lowered the ceiling of his popularity while diehard CA Dems still voted for him. That scandal, and his genuine unlikeability, kept him around for years as mid-tier dead weight for the party.

Is it just me or does it seem that Swalwell's problems got magnified after Bondi's departure??? Someone said there was a connection between the 2. I noted that, unlike the other Democrats, he not only wasn't attacking her when she appeared in Congress but she seemed to be kind to him, compared to how she was to the other Dems.

They tried many things and Were not prepared for a Trump return. Lots of blaming each other and "if we just did it my way, we wouldn't be in this mess."
