Iran decided to fire bullets yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz — A Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom. That wasn’t nice, was it? My Representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan — They will be there tomorrow evening, for Negotiations. Iran recently announced that they were closing the Strait, which is strange, because our BLOCKADE has already closed it. They’re helping us without knowing, and they are the ones that lose with the closed passage, $500 Million Dollars a day! The United States loses nothing. In fact, many Ships are headed, right now, to the U.S., Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska, to load up, compliments of the IRGC, always wanting to be “the tough guy!” We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years. I honestly think the IRGC itself has lost all control. It's a bunch of disparate renegade bands running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Unless they really are this stupid and keep screwing themselves over and over (which I guess is a non zero possibility).
I wish the timing of all this, and the previous protests in Iran had happened in the opposite order. Having those massive protests happen now might have actually let the people retake their country, but unfortunately I think this ends with the regime still in power (but acquiescing to US demands)
The people need defensive weapons and maybe we're using this time to get them into their hands

That’s what I’m thinking. Either Iran has control of the Strait or they don’t. If the US is in control how does Iran shut it down? Just end their ability to cause trouble & get this over with.
This is a mystery to us from where we are standing. If we were privy to military Intel we would probably know the answer.
Iranian military is many different factions. There are probably a couple rogue factions that aren’t on board with peace.
Basically Iran is a country of many different valley’s and each valley has a different tribe or different ethnicity. Iran’s military is designed to project force inward to keep all the factions under control.
But not all parts of the military are aligned, especially considering how many layers of their leadership have been decapitated.
That is the reality of negotiating with Iran right now.
