The Hess files were scheduled for release in 2017 the same year Trump declassified the JFK tranche containing the 1955 CIA Caracas memo on Hitler-in-Colombia. The Hess files were not, in fact, released. They remain sealed.
Whatever Hess actually carried was important enough that four mutually antagonistic superpowers agreed for half a century that it could not see daylight, and is still being withheld today.

In April 2024 Argentina's Federal Chamber of Criminal Cassation the country's highest criminal court formally ruled that Iran had directed the AMIA bombing and Hezbollah had carried it out, and declared the attack a crime against humanity. Interesting theory, but some big stretches here.
The "no peace treaty" thing is real but not that mysterious. The Two Plus Four deal in 1990 officially ended the occupation and gave Germany full control again. No secret Nazi state survived on paper.
Hess's story is weird, yes. But turning him into proof of a giant hidden cabal is a leap.
Paperclip and Gehlen Org did happen. The US grabbed Nazi scientists and spies for the Cold War. Dirty deal, but it was about beating the Soviets in the space race, not Nazis secretly running America.
The Middle East and Argentina links (Mufti, ratlines, AMIA bombing) have real history, but modern Iran and Hezbollah aren't just "Nazi leftovers." They're their own Islamist thing with some old Nazi influence mixed in.
Overall, it's Cold War messiness and bad guys helping bad guys, not one 81-year Nazi "parasite" war that just magically ended. Good food for thought on real ratlines though. Just don't connect every dot into one big master plan.
