Lies. The real wealth holders of this world do not appear on the Forbes list or any other list. Elon isn't even close to the richest.

For over a year you couldn't open chatGpt and try asking about the name David Mayer—a name heavily associated with the wealthy Rothschild banking family.
It would literally give you an error and no results at all.

The richest people and families in the world have generational wealth that has the memory of things like the French revolution where people that were outwardly rich I had a good chance of having their head in a guillotine. Old money is wise money
OK, but there are different ways of doing things with money. For instance, there might be a $trillion in a trust fund or similar which you control. The money would not technically be yours but you could spend it pretty much how you liked.
So, you would not be in the list of richest people but you could still have greater spending power than someone who was.
