I found this post on the board and then I tried to find comments about kelp supplements, but the search yielded no results.

I'm trying to avoid having to go to the clinical route, because 1 dose of levothyroxine messed me up, so i'm trying to do something else. I found out I had hypothyroidism during pregnancy. It has been two years, and I still have not been able to lose the weight. I gained 100 pounds during pregnancy. You read that correctly.

I cleaned up my diet, intentionally created a caloric deficit, and incorporated more exercise, but the weight is not coming off, so that is telling me that the thyroid is still an issue.

I am taking vitamin b12 and b complex, cut down on the bullshit food, now going on nightly walks.

Because I am overweight by a hundred pounds, running is hard on my joints at the moment.

I lost my gallbladder from pregnancy as well, so I have to be careful what I do. At the moment I am trying a Mediterranean type diet, and I feel better, but the weight is still there.

Any ideas?
