Iirc in at least some of those numbers, they counted turning someone around at a port of entry as a "deportation", so it largely wasn't removals of persons already inside the country.

Obama (and likely the others) counted "turnbacks" at the border as deportations. I'm pretty sure no one but Trump has truly done mass deportations since Operation Wetback.

I think any judge who believes he has the right and authority to undermine the president obviously does not know law and so should be disbarred.
