The safety and security of the Republic should be the only reason to tax the public. The military has used funding for horrific experiments on the populace. That I don't condone or agree with. Example: Dr Lisa Martino Taylor wrote a thesis on the radiological contamination of Minneapolis and St. Louis in the early 50's and 60's https://www.lisamartinotaylor.com/ Just one of many examples if you look.
We could go on about this. I’ll be glad when the free ride is over. I saw an advertisement for glp1 or whatever the shot is people are taking for weight loss. The actor in the video my friends think I’m paying $$$ for the shot. I’m not it’s paid for by the government. I’ve lost 40 pounds on my own and will never get that poison. Saw a video on social media a lady complaining that her food stamps would not pay for juice or soft drinks and cookies.
When I first came to the US, Small town in Iowa, I had culture shock in the best way.
It was like coming home.
Proud to have served her and to be a citizen.

First off: I really like the sentiment of this clip!
At the same time I am left wondering if they aren’t all being ‘taken-in’ by the addictive food additives and high-fructose corn syrup since it was rather ‘food focused’.
I’ve been to Germany and marvel at their amazing wurst plates, fresh beer and schnapps at local pubs, and carnival atmosphere during Fastnacht and I guess to some extent it is all relative.
Would love to see the focus shift a bit from ‘food’ to ‘people’. Meurica’ has much more to offer than ranch dressing.
I have watched many where it is the people. There was a funny, dour Frenchman who would trade every croissant in France for Texas brisket and air conditioning. His mother only smiled at him twice and these Americans are all smiles and hi"s and service is so good, he willingly leaves a tip. The Scots are enchanted with Boston! Who woulda thunk.

Yes it was! I don’t think it’s something to be proud of, as a child of an alcoholic & I was as well as a teenager. Ironically, Scottish is part of my genealogy. I’m not saying an entire nation are drunks, I think it’s in every a part of every society. My dad’s family were alcoholics, recovered or died from the disease. I’m not judging them, maybe they were on vacation and just enjoying themselves.
