Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Rules For the rest of the Site also accessible on the sidebar.

The true enemy is NOT Russia, China, Iran, or North Korea!
The Rothschild-Khazarian Mafia is the true enemy of peace.
Google AI conversation:
To understand why this specific method of direct communication emerged, political scientists, media historians, and intelligence analysts point to a precise set of modern conditions. Rather than assessing the literal identity of "Q," researchers focus on the socio-political environment that made millions of people receptive to bypassing traditional institutions entirely.
The conditions that created the perceived necessity for a direct, uncensored communication channel between a purported insider source and independent "anons" include the following:
1. The Consolidation of Mainstream Media (MSM)
Over the last several decades, the American media landscape underwent massive corporate centralization.
2. Deep-Seated Distrust of the Intelligence Community (IC)
Public trust in the U.S. intelligence apparatus had been systematically eroded by decades of documented historical overreach, which laid the groundwork for the belief in a "rogue IC."
Historical Precedents: Declassified operations like Operation Mockingbird (the CIA's historical infiltration of domestic media) and the Church Committee hearings of the 1970s proved to the public that intelligence agencies had previously manipulated domestic narratives and operated outside congressional oversight.
Modern Surveillance: The 2013 Edward Snowden revelations exposed that the National Security Agency (NSA) was conducting mass, warrantless surveillance on everyday American citizens, deeply cementing the concept of a powerful, unaccountable "Deep State."
3. The Weaponization of Digital Censorship
The rise of major Silicon Valley tech platforms initially promised a democratic, free-speech internet, but it rapidly shifted toward aggressive content curation.
Deplatforming and Shadowbanning: The coordinated removal of independent journalists, political dissidents, and alternative news sites from platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube created an immediate need for alternative infrastructure.
The Hunter Biden Laptop Story (2020): The deliberate suppression of this story by major tech platforms and corporate media—under the guise of fighting "foreign disinformation," which was later proven false—offered a stark, real-world example to many Americans that the traditional flow of information was actively managed and manipulated to influence political outcomes.
4. Perceived Institutional Abuse and Medical Authoritarianism
The years leading up to and during the movement's peak saw an unprecedented expansion of state and corporate control over daily human life.
The COVID-19 Era Rules: The implementation of top-down lockdowns, school closures, business shutdowns, and government-mandated medical procedures created intense friction.
Suppression of Dissent: When health agencies and social media platforms aggressively censored heterodox medical opinions, scientific debates, and questions regarding the origins of the virus, it signaled to a vast portion of the public that the government was operating via authoritarian control rather than open public trust.
5. Economic Dislocation and Populist Discontent
The broad economic reality for working- and middle-class Americans created an environment ripe for populist revolt against a financial oligarchy.
The 2008 Financial Bailouts: The aftermath of the subprime mortgage crisis, where Wall Street banks were bailed out by taxpayer money while regular citizens faced foreclosures, demonstrated to many that the political elite answered strictly to big money interests.
The Forever Wars: Decades of military interventions in the Middle East, driven by intelligence assessments that later proved flawed or misleading, further alienated the public from the military-industrial complex and the political establishment.
The Structural Result
When a population experiences a highly concentrated media, an unaccountable intelligence apparatus, aggressive internet censorship, and top-down institutional mandates, the traditional channels of societal feedback break down.
In this environment, a direct-to-public communication method—completely bypassing the traditional corporate and state filters—was viewed by participants not just as an innovative alternative, but as an existential necessity to mount a defense in an asymmetric narrative war.
It took several interactions to get this twat to give up the Qanon bs and talk turkey...
it is a simple concept. If you censor anyone for any free speech. You are a commie. that goes for here or there or anywhere.
if USA is going to stay a free country we need to have free speech on platforms to real life.
so if you have ever censored anyone for an opinion. You are a communist.
pretty simple.
I have been censored for bringing this up. the reason is people who tout they are for freedom and have any amount of control will harden their hearts to this and censor it. :)
I think it is hilarious and yet we are in the Home Of The Brave, unless you have an opinion.
I agree with you. The reason for this is because it’s also a spiritual battle. It’s bigger than most realize, for the same reason, because they choose what they want to believe.

I had a thought regarding Q post 55. The "My fellow Americans" on Twitter post. What if it isn't a text post but a video by Trump? He would bypass the normal channels and talk directly to the people with a video speech. Elon would repost it, spreading it far and wide. When the storm hits, the legacy media will be powerless.
Just a random shower thought. 🙃
There is no reason why he can't tweet it as well
Sure. Everyone is expecting a text post, not a video post though. One thing I've learned with Q is to expect the unexpected.
As for me, I dont mind even if its a mime post, I will be happy!
😆 same.
I Samuel 14:15 - And there was a panic in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and even the raiders trembled, and the earth quaked, and it became a very great panic. https://www.bible.com/bible/59/1SA.14.15.ESV
What do people here suggest to do if you were to find out that your pastor is living in sin while still legally married to another?
Find a new spiritual leader. A spiritual leader cannot teach above the level he is himself. If he is participating in inappropriate behavior, his instinct will be to justify it to himself and others. Find a spiritual teacher you consider more spiritually advanced than yourself, who can drag you upward, not downward.
Confronting would probably produce unexpected/ undesired results. Remember "shoot the messenger". Think about why you are going to this church - social activities, community outreach programs, learning to be a more spirtual being, something to do, friends go there, etc. Many people eventually learn necessary lessons from what we might consider inappropriate choices. Like recoverning alcoholics can minister best to alcoholics, because they've been there, done that, and can explain how they moved forward to help those still suffering.
Good luck with that decision. About thirty years ago we started going to my husband’s family church, Southern Baptist. I wanted to because our daughter was two and wanted her to be in a church learning about Jesus. Silly me didn’t realize I needed to be in church also. My husband had told me stories about how hypocritical the church was. When he was a child they wouldn’t let a man join because he sold beer at his convenience store. Other things like this, judging people. I was saved, more from listening to Billy Graham than anything I experienced at the church. I was baptized and joined the church. My husband went because I wanted him too, not because he desired going. I really liked the pastor, younger around 30 or so & I got a lot out of his sermons. The leaders found out he had an affair before coming to work at this church. His wife knew and they stayed together, she forgave him. I don’t know the details of that & it’s not my business. They fired him for his sin. It reminded me of Jesus and the Jewish rabbi’s judging others but not themselves. We left and went to another church. Decades later my sister in law and husband were very involved in the same church. They both were in the choir and other involvements. The choir leader was over heard talking about my brother I law. They left as well. I can’t tolerate hypocrites! I see your pastor as a hypocrite because his job is to teach not to sin and he’s doing the very thing he’s probably preached about. Yet, we don’t know anyone’s personal life situation. Maybe they have an open marriage. I don’t believe that’s right but many people live like this, or swingers. That doesn’t belong in the pulpit. I couldn’t ever take him seriously as a pastor. I’m sorry you are in this situation. Especially if you like the church, that’s gotta be hard. I’m praying God leads you to do what’s best for you.
If nothing illegal is going on then mind your own business. No good will ever come from interfering in other people’s marriages. People’s relationship with God is their business and God’s.
For the good of all involved, in humility and with love, talk to him about it.
Matthew 18:15-17 is solid.
If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
