Islam started in the early 600s, but wasn't very popular until Muhammad added the jihad, raping, and pillaging. Convert numbers soared after that.
Don't believe anything from the Catholic church. They lied to us all about what day the Crucifixion was on. It was on a Wednesday, not "Good Friday."
I got a new one four years ago near the end of Trump's previous term. It has less than 30,000 miles, so I believe I'll keep it a few more years. I hope to pay cash for a new one sometime in the future, if I live that long or the car starts failing sooner. I don't trust where the newer cars are going as far as surveillance crap. My current car doesn't have the GPS, but does have a CD player.
I might get 1-2 inches on Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. The biggest snows in eastern NC always come up from the Gulf of America after we already have cold weather in place. We could get a lot of snow. I'm prepared to stay home for a long time.
I have a distant cousin who died under suspicious circumstances in Dallas a week or so after JFK. I'd like to see that investigated, along with all the other suspicious deaths in that timeframe. He was a former police officer, Elbert Maurice Baker, and he died 12-3-1963. It is claimed that he either shot himself with a pistol or a shotgun. I wonder how that could be confused.
If Trump was already president, it would be wrong to swear on a Bible again. Biden's TV show four years ago "swore" him in before noon as specified in the Constitution. There was no 21-gun salute, and soldiers turned their backs on his motorcade when he left. I think Trump was really Commander in Chief the whole time.
I'm glad my insurance pays almost everything for my immunotherapy treatments. The doctor bills almost $30,000, and I only have to pay $10. I think that's pretty good. And everything the oncologist has requested has been paid on by insurance. Somehow, CT, MRI, and PET scans cost me $100 each, so I haven't had a lot of them.
If my insurance ever turns, I'll have to use this information.
Based on voting, almost half of Americans could be called retarded in some way. Only a certain percentage of people will ever be really good at tech. I am good at it, even though I'm old, but I'm not about to get a job. Long term programming jobs bore me anyway.
That link was to only a reply. If no one will apply for a job, you might have to import a few whizzes from elsewhere. That's what the visa program was designed for. Better that, than letting in over 12,000,000 illegals. BTW, the visa workers are probably in limited areas of huge demand. I, personally, have never seen one. There's not huge tech in my town, but there is a factory that makes parts, some of which are currently on the ISS.
It's up to individuals to get the training necessary for the current job market. Obviously, a lot of people aren't doing that, even though community college is relatively inexpensive. That's where I got my programming knowledge and skills.
The last time I had that happen was in the early 1980s. The temp went down to a record 5 degrees here in eastern NC, and it totally killed my battery. So I had to buy a new battery.
That was a used car, and I've only bought new since then. My last two cars have been without problems. I only have one car, but a relative lives next door and has two, and the neighbor on the other side also has two. He bought two just alike, so if there is a real emergency, he can use one for parts to fix the other.
I have four websites with AdSense ads. I have checking, savings, and money market, all paying a bit of interest. My wife and I both get SS and pensions. So that's 11 sources. Also, I doing genealogy for a rich person and get money from him whenever I decide to work. I only do a few hours of work per week, when I feel like it.
So if the websites go away, the bank quits paying interest, and the rich guy fires me, I'll still get by.
Another piece of advice is to keep expenses as low as possible. I don't pay for satellite or cable TV. I don't have a cellphone. We don't eat out much. And we buy inexpensive food in bulk.
I did a few solid weeks of research on him and his connections when I first heard of him.
