According to The Yale Book of Quotations, the earliest known version of the saying is in Thomas Fuller‘s, A Pisgah Sight of Palestine (1650) (“It is always darkest just before the Day dawneth”)
The day dawneth at 12:01 AM.
Good data here but some of the interpretation is a bit off. Real climate scientists have long known that CO2 doesn't LEAD temperature, it FOLLOWS temperature. Which is to say, when the temperature rises, the CO2 levels rise afterward.
Why? The oceans and other bodies of water store lots of CO2. When the water heats up from the sun, it releases CO2. The map you show there of CO2 concentration aligns with the highest areas of solar radiation, which cause water bodies to release CO2 into the air, which dissipates as it drifts north and south.
Blue state, used to have paper books they'd look for you in. Polling place moved, this year they have little tablet kiosks. They put in your name and address, and it shows them a bunch of information including your registered party.
Makes you feel intimidated a bit. They know whether to fuck with your ballot or not.
They print you a receipt with 4 numbers and you take 8 steps to the other table to get a ballot based on the number. I assume related to district or whatever, but would be an easy way to rig it by giving all the GOP people 1234 and then discarding those.
There will be two women grinding together.
Missed the word "grain" there.
I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” “Where, Lord?” they asked. He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”

They were deployed to testing and QA environments first, to prove that they did not break anything or cause other problems - BEFORE they were ever deployed to prod.
Right, but I'm sure this update was tested before being deployed... the problem is the dev doing the deploy sometimes does it wrong. Happens all the time, even more frequently in decentralized scenarios.
Assuming it isn't a "bad actor" situation anyway.
How does that thing go with attributing to malice what could more easily be attributed to incompetence?
I dunno, I think the excuse to fire right-wing people was mostly a side effect. It would have also gotten left-wing people (actual antivax, GMO bad, etc).
Really it would be a "who is smart enough to think for themselves" vs "who will become submissive in the event of an emergency" regardless of left or right. To that end, some companies are screwed. They basically fired all their "leaders" with it.
I mean... people have been talking about global homo for a long time. Who would be surprised that there is voter fraud in every country from the same group of globalists?
