I only want to keep my deep freezer going. At this point in my life, I'm not going anywhere.

The gaslighting is ridiculous. Seriously. I've posted this before, but one of the "news" stations had a reporter standing in the area saying, "Just look at the violence! It's terrible!" Meanwhile there was no one in sight except an old man shuffling by with his walker.

I wish I still had a photo, but years ago my husband built a side by side double bin from pallets with the ability for the front to slide up. One side was for composting and the other side for potatoes. We alternated sides each year. There was an overhead beam from which we hung 3 litre bottles for upside down tomatoes.

Thank you. I am going to remember "You can only give away what you have." This is a sermon to read again and again and to share. God bless you abundantly.

The flow of money is the same as for any other tragedy - school shooting or natural disaster. Money flows to institutions that hire cooperative individuals who will do as asked in exchange for compensation. The institutions make donations to political parties and candidates. Employees of these institutions and the unions representing them are pressed into attending fundraisers, making donations,, and all the footwork involved in getting candidates in place- even stuffing ballot boxes or getting incoherent nursing home patients to vote. And, of course,, candidates,, once in place, know what's expected of them. No money goes to those actually affected nor do the affected get jobs. Never let a crisis go to waste..

Here's my general discussion ramble.

There are mice in my house. My dog caught one and proudly dumped it in the living room. They ate an entire bag of egg noodles. Traps everywhere. Pet safe rodent repellant. Holes sealed. Sick of them. It's summer! Go outside to play! Which leads me to ...

I am a stockpiler. All dry goods being moved to mason jars so mice don't plump up.. Trying to get my son and DIL to eat all non-meat products in our freezers while pork is $1.99 and London broil and bottom round are $2.99. As sacrilegious as it is, Polish Bald Eagle, that means frozen pierogi, kimchi and pork dumplings.

Late on getting my garden started. My husband of 35 yesrs passed in January of "covid" and gardening without him puttering around is hard. But I'll get on with it.

That's enough for now.
