I was among the first 50 going in. Wish I had thought to video going across that field. It was FAR! My husband says way bigger than a football field. And that was before the press section and the front part in this photo.
This shows just the front section.
What you can't see from this photo is that to the left of the tent on the right, under the blaring light (that lit the speakers on stage) is the press stand. There was, as Trump stated, an area much more than the size of a football field behind there, then security. It was a sea of people, packed in up to the fence dividing the two sections.
To go to the porta potty I had to go through this section. On the way back I had to pry my way through. (Happily!) We sat inside in the thunder and rain waiting. Those people had remained in line to get in during the thunder storm.
I was told by a security guard that the chairs on the flat part in the front section in front of the stage held 2,500. That doesn't account for the bleachers nor the people standing in that front section in this shot. Maybe 15,000 then?
So I believe RSBN's reports of 45,000. Easily.
I was with seasoned rally goers who from 9 AM and were extremely impressed with the turnout.
I had always been curious what a crowd looked like in person. Now I understand that there can be a lot more that the press cameras don't show due to where they are positioned.
What an experience!
You got me charged up, but it looks as though with Gab Pro you can create a video channel and groups and build an audience, but not get out in front of users.
I got excited about Mike's platform, but our cuckoo clocks are handmade in small batches, pretty much to order, and sell for $800. They are the real thing. And we don't discount. No reason to. Every product in Mike's shop is offered at a discount. And the shop looks very My Pillow-ishy. Doesn't fit our clocks.
Likewise, as a business owner I am having a hard time advertising on You Tube and Facebook. Don't want to give them any money even if my budget is diddly squat.
But my new cuckoo clock design is a Betsy Ross flag clock and "1776" on the pendulum. (With the Pledge engraved on it. At an event with the mobile cuckoo gallery in Roswell Georgia a woman called me out on the "G word" on it. Also said the clock wasn't "inclusive." I point to the words "We the people" engraved on the front and asked, "What's not inclusive about that?") I can target conservatives so easily on those channels.
Wish I could advertise on Telegram or Rumble. Patriots supporting patriots. We need an alternative!
True. We make weight-driven cuckoo clocks using all American wood milled locally, have a blacksmith make our weights. But because the movements are imported we can't be certified as Made in the USA. Which sucks since we just came out with a Betsy Ross Flag cuckoo clock with the Pledge of Allegiance on one side, the preamble to the Constitution on the front, and a leather bound Constitution on the other side in a pocket. Doesn't get more all-American than that!
The source it links to looks a little shady. Found it on Etsy. Much for reputable. enter text
I'm a bit north too, Cherokee County. After the primaries when there were problems in the water main break county a friend who works in the Sec of State's office asked me to vouch that voting here was smooth, as I had posted on voting day. Evidently there were complaints of voting issues in Cherokee County and they had 24 hours to present a defense. I knew we were done for then. She didn't say, but I knew it was organized. Conservative counties were being targeted. The November election was no surprise to me. Though way more horrifying than I imagined.
Great job! Don't forget that they are the ones falling for the lies. What freaks me out is how even we who know better feel the pressure to conform. An event organizer here in north Georgia has been having events all along. Going underground (meaning word-of-mouth) for indoor concerts, but having markets and outdoor concerts all along in public places. One day he walked into his wrestling venue, saw that lots of people had masks on, turned around and went to Dollar Store and bought one. When he got back to his venue he threw it away. He's a very outspoken guy. For him to feel compelled even for a moment... Well, it steeled him even more. We went to his events and city events starting in April of last year. Not a lot of masks. When people would want to enter our Mobile Cuckoo Clock Gallery (a big Promaster van) and were masked I'd ask if they wanted me to put one on. Most said not at all. Neither my husband nor I have worn them to the grocery store since the first few months. No one has ever said anything. Yesterday was our first event of the season. 450-500 people there. Families. Maybe a dozen people wearing masks total. Take a stand for reason folks!. I see it as a stand for our Country.
Don't forget that the purpose of this agonizing time is for 1. people who have had the wool over their eyes to wake up as they see what they have fallen for progress on its course turbo-charged, and 2. the people to take their power back. Ha! Just thought it's kind of like the ruby slippers. We could go home all along. I found his comment about the states and censorship very telling. It wasn't just about censorship. The power must go back to the people. We are doing so through state legislatures addressing voting laws. It's a big point he made in his speech to the UN is 2019. This doesn't mean the plan isn't in effect. It doesn't mean we're waiting for the 2024 election. The people have to be ready for it. Again, the UN speech. Don't forget that he also put other hints in there. The CPAC speech was for the masses. And to show that he is the Republican party -- not starting a new one. That we are unified. The we love Trump chants. The love we have for him. After they tried so hard to poison we the people. The message I give naysayers is that it isn't the man, it's that he is the ultimate patriot. He gets this country, the Founding, and the nature of people.
Because we aren't so much the intended audience.
