Did he say that what he would SAY would be historic? Or just that "TODAY" would be historic? I hope something else happened besides that speech. It seems like that must be the case and that he was emphasizing the day & not the announcement.

He said, "hopefully today..." not "hopefully my announcement." He even emphasized TODAY, not "my speech." Something else must have happened yesterday that we haven't heard about yet.
That would've been more honest for sure. Not all of these, "You're going to be really, really happy very soon" types of statements. I still trust & it's obvious that things are happening, but "soon" has passed.
Because it doesn't make sense that this post was referring to his announced or speech. Something else had to be going down yesterday. Reminds me of when Scavino posted the pic from the Oval Office and said that he hoped he could tell us in the future what was happening that day.
