Also when I do get flare ups I can’t smell anything even the shampoo and conditioner in the shower have no smell. Only thing I can smell is that decomposed fish smell when I bend over or move my head at certain angles.
You need to rinse your sinuses with saline and tea tree oil. Over thirty years ago I had a bad sinus infection and it smelled really bad, exactly as you described. It returns now and then but I rinse it out at the slightest hint of smell and it goes away You’ll probably have to rinse at least three times a day for two weeks before it improves. Once you get rid of it, subsequent bouts can be eradicated quickly.
