Learn your history fren, the American Pit bull is an extremely intelligent dog, and a loving one at that. They were called the nanny dog in the early 1900's because it was such a friendly loving dog with children, and it still is. The pit bull has been battling fake news for decades. They also get a bad reputation from other breeds being confused with them, examples are American Staffordshire terrier, English bull terrier, Argentine dogo, American bulldog, American bully and even some mutts. If one of these dogs attack someone the media will say pit bull attack. I have owned pure breed American Pit bulls my whole life and I have never had a problem with aggression. I can't say that about alot of other breeds, and when pure bred American Pit bulls are tested they score extremely high on tolerance test, also 95% of the people have no idea what kind of dog I have on the end of my leash.
