Proof that if you want to, you can conquer the evil and nit only survive, but be the change you want to see in the world. Sir, I can't think of a finer example than you. Against all odds, you persevered and have come to a place of taking care of yourself, avoiding negative influences and having your own family, the way it grew is not important, that you have one is what matters. Love them hard, and thank you for trying to help others that you see suffering from the same evils you did. If we can't help each other, we have no business being here ❤️
I know the song, and I wish you didn't feel so weird inside, but I hope you know, your biggest fan is your daughter and breaking that chain of abuse was an incredible feat! It's ok to share your story with her at some point in time, you have no reason hide it, none of it was your fault, you had some seriously shitty parenting and were around awful adults because of it. Your daughter may understand you a little better and love you even more if she knows what you suffered and conquered. Saying that, there are things I've never shared with my children too, I don't want them to hurt knowing I was hurt, so I do understand your point.
I imagine it felt convicting to watch him receive some of the abuse he doled out. I'm just very humbled by your matter of fact way of describing such horrific events, I understand that sometimes the cycle of abuse is broken. I'm thankful your cycle ended with your past and hope your voice now can help others who are abused now. So many are and we don't understand it fully, but stories like yours make it hard to ignore and turn a blind eye.
Thank you for sharing your story, I agree the it needs to be talked about and exposed to the light. Your courage is astounding and I am humbled by your upbringing. At 17 I thought my parents were awful, horrible parents, I had it so, so good & was too entitled to know it. I pray you have healing and peace. Thank you for giving a voice to the victims of this horrible evil in our world that never had a chance to speak of it.

I appreciate this comment so much. Simply put, you have given me hope in long-term friendships that I fear have been lost due to a different view of current events. We are all scared to speak up for fear of being dismissed or hated. Their tactics have been quite successful, but I will proudly stand beside you and your wife in this battle, waving our American flags and wearing our red MAGA hats! You would probably leave me in the dust in a physical brawl (I see the military reference) but I would match the strength of your heart and drive! I have to second this, however, even some naturopathic doctors took the shot, including my daughter's doctor. When she knew she had to get it for her own trek down the path of the medical field, this doctor gave her advice to help rid her body of the toxins. So.....u think it's safe enough to get the clot shot but then you have directions to remove the toxins? Wtf?
We need people in the medical field that are willing to be advocates of the people! I haven't been to a doctor in 5 years except for the appendectomy I had in 2019. Even then, I tried to take care of it myself. O failed! I thank God it was before the plandemic!
Please stay the course and find other like minded individuals that are also able to think for themselves and observe the obvious happenings around them!
I will pray for you as I pray for my daughter to stay the course despite the pushback, because we will need caring, thinking doctors & nurses to take care of those that are left when this has traveled the full course. I love your outlook and attitude!

Agree, it's a tough battle when society tells them to rebel and fight their parents, but that's why I love this advice. If we SHOW them the unconditional love and guide them when they are young, they may stray, but they will come back!

I caught that too but feel like he still presented a unique perspective on something that is being shoved in our faces every day, something we should not ignore or pretend isn't there. If the man had rambled on about "Qanon" for the whole video I would have stopped watching, but it was a passing comment that made it clear he doesn't really know what we discuss here. Not everyone is awake and not everyone is going to jump on board. That doesn't mean the guy is a fraud concerning the information presented. Open dialogue is needed in this country and across the world. We have to bridge the gap and welcome people in so they can understand what WE have known and researched for years. Their propaganda is highly effective, being hateful and divisive is what they eant.

Cribbage is a great game, grew up playing it with my folks on an old school board with those plastic pegs mentioned in another comment. Thankfully none have ever broken. It's been around for 50 years now & we still use that board all the time.
I don't know this for a fact, but where I live, we don't usually pay for library programs. Typically they are free unless it's a craft type event then you might pay for materials.

Excellent resource 20-guage, thank you for posting this more than once over the last 2-3 years, I know it is seen by people who need it every time! My kids are now graduated but I pulled them out I'm 3rd grade because the administration was supremely fucked and they were not helping me with my one having a really bad time with a really bad teacher. I am a single Mom with amazing support of my parents and brother. My brother thought I was crazy until he went to the school to fight for my daughter. When his kids reached school age, he didn't send his either. Seriously the BEST decision I ever made, because those years would have turned my girls against me. One was against me for years, so pissed that I pulled her out. It was hard to come up with lesson plans and also work full time, but it was something I prayed about and knew I needed to make happen. Parents, yes, it might be hard, but don't make it like public school the way some try to do. Live life with your children and teach them along the way. Freedom is absolutely correct and it WILL be the best decision for your kids and your family! Thank you again 20-guage, all of your resources are so helpful and I recall thinking once that you would have been an amazing librarian!
