France is supposedly sending 2000 troops to the front line. If these guys are proven to have connections to the CIA or another NATO countries intelligence. It will be looked at as just that, NATO declaring war. It will be Russia bs NATO.
Meanwhile the moment the USA sends troops under the NATO flag, domestic cells within each state will erupt into violence effectively starting a simultaneous civil war.
World war 3 will be short and nuclear. The civil war will last much longer.
Of course we had a military alliance with the US we train(ed) together all the time. Some of my best memories are hanging out with the Americans in wainwright and swapping gear
