Yeah, Trump is a coward. He didn't have the balls to kill thousands of Americans as part of a false flag, lie about it, cover it up, and then go to war against the fictional enemy. What a pussy.

It was the official installation of "enemies domestic" as the ones in charge. We've been living under un-American rule ever since. We all want things to go back "to normal" (from Covid) but there are people serving in the military who have never seen "normal", as they were born after 9/11, and have always lived with Guantanamo, the TSA, and other elements of domestic tyranny. They don't know how fucking good it was to party in 1999.
It's also suicide. Shifts such as this one have caused mass-extinction events. I don't know how someone could trigger such an event, but if you want to "save the Earth" while destroying humanity, that's how you would do it. If a human had the power to pull this off, there is no guarantee they would survive the event. I don't think we have the technology or horsepower to initiate such an event, so if it happens, it's random, and we were due for it, geologically speaking.
Much like the mutation of a virus, you can't predict these sort of things. There is evidence in the geologic record of pole reversal, and of the crust turning 90 degrees. Anyone who claims to know WHEN it may occur has a hand in trying to make it happen.
My guess is that having this come from a CIA guy gives it credibility. Without this story, it's just a myth. If the Feds are taking crustal slippage seriously, the rest of us should as well. I did my part by leaving LA. Should be safe where I am, a mile high.
Let's just say Putin has a better read on US foreign policy than the US does on Russian policy. We do what we want, regardless of who the actual bad guys are, and paint Putin as a madman, when he's obviously more in command of his senses than The Big Guy.
