Today's ruling didn't affect any evidence.

It was a conversation about evidence. In fact, it was a conversation about an upcoming conversation about evidence.

Since this is a trial about classified information, there will be evidence withheld.

CIPA or the CLASSIFIED INFORMATION PROCEDURES ACT is the law that dictates how trials about secrets occur. There's a section that allows the government to submit a summary of a document, not the document itself.

Section 4 provides in pertinent part that "[t]he court, upon a sufficient showing, may authorize the United States to delete specified items of classified information from documents to be made available to the defendant through discovery under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, to substitute a summary of the information for such classified documents, or to substitute a statement admitting the relevant facts that classified information would tend to prove."

You have to have a hearing on this and show cause to the judge.

She issued a more significant ruling last month

CIPA also has a section where the defendant has to say what classified information they will be using in defense.

Smith wanted to have that hearing in December. She's delayed it to March. Legal folks are thinking that means the may trial date may get pushed back.

Trump originally asked for an April 20th, 26th trial date. When that was rejected he asked for the trial to be held after the November 2024 election.

You can distrust the NY State Courts if you want, but that's on the record.

Since it was deleted, they weren't technically lying for one.

They said she did not make the posts

For two, Trump also talked about it.

So ? Trump is far from infallible. If he repeats bad info, it's still bad info.

What I posted was reporting on official statement from the NY Court.

Al Baker, a spokesman for the state court system issued a statement declaring these twitter posts were not from Judge Engoron's wife and that she has no twitter account. You can search for his name and spokesman and find many articles about this. So it's not a reporter saying this. It's the NY Supreme Court

she is true America first fighter

This doesn't mean she is correct however. When she posted her posts, I read them and I didn't see where she actually showed he had the right account. At the time I asked how do we know it's her. Nobody knew. (I saw one official court document online that indicated Engoron started divorce proceedings recently, for example. Though maybe they reconciled.) I looked through her receipts and I didn't see proof.

That thread says Jim Watkins the owner of 8chan began posting as Q

We have twisted ourselves into knots trying to come up with alternative explanations for what happened on the 24th, but the simplest is that Jim Watkins made these changes and then he, or a close associate, posted as Q.

He works for InfoWars/Alex Jones.

He was sentenced to 60 days and started his sentence Oct 26, 2023.

So he served a bit over 40 days and it probably getting early for good behavior.

She's lying.

This is standard boilerplate language they put in contracts to comply with this law

If we are unable to verify your identity before Election Day, you will be asked for ID when you vote for the first time.

Send or deliver this form Fill out the form below. Your information will be checked for any errors upon submission of this form, and you will be given an opportunity to correct any issues. Once complete, a PDF version of your voter registration form will be generated for display or download (depending on your system). By signing the voter registration portion of the form, you will be attesting to the following information:

Be careful with Loomer's stuff.

Remember she posted a bunch of claims about Engoron's wife's twitter account.

The NY court looked into it and said his wife doesn't have a twitter account.

"Justice Engoron's wife has not sent social media posts regarding the former president. They are not hers. She does not have an X, formerly Twitter, account," Al Baker, spokesperson for the New York Office of Court Administration, told CBS News.

Military arrests would be illegal.

My guess it would be about this.

Rebels in Yemen targeted cargo ships and a US Navy ship.

If this is real. And currently that's a big IF.

There has been no alerts issued by the Base command

I don't have the all or nothing response to reports from the MSM especially on things that don't involve interpretation. (Either Chesebro is cooperating in NV or he is not.) I tend to "track" things and see how things pan out.

One thing I look it do other media sites corroborate the reporting. Looking this up just now I see the Washington Post is reporting today he is talking to NV and Arizona.

And this came out a few days ago and was widely reported because the court documents for this are public.

Following his guilty plea, Chesebro’s counsel asked the court to modify his probation rules to allow for travel to Nevada, Arizona and Washington, D.C., for ongoing “investigations of the ‘election fraud’ cases.”

https://thehill.com/homenews/4323472-fake-elector-probes-2020-swing-states-spell-trouble-for-trump/

So earlier this week, his lawyer tells the judge his bail needs to be modified because he needs to talk to other states. Today we hear info he has talked to Nevada.

Seems like a lot of smoke is happening here.

Trump's probably having his best two days in court yesterday and today.

These defense witnesses have been better than Trump or his sons or any of the Trump employees were

Robert Unell a commercial real estate expert has analyzed four loans at the heart of this case.

The government witness said Trump would have paid $168 million more in interest if his financial statements were accurate. Unell is directly rebutting that

Unell says he’s analyzed four loans at issue in this case that were used to develop Trump’s Doral Florida golf course, the Manhattan high-rise at 40 Wall Street, his now-former DC hotel in the Old Post Office building and Trump’s Unell says he’s also reviewed Trump’s financial statements at issue here.

“The statements of financial condition provided by the defendants are in line, or in my opinion of better quality, than statements...typically received in commercial real estate transactions,” he says.

“The level of detail...gives the user ample information,” Unell says. “That kind of information is nice to have in front of you.”

https://x.com/stewartbishop/status/1730251764039856140?s=20

Witnesses both today and yesterday, said the "covenent" in the loans that Trump must maintain at least $2.5 billion in net worth, would not mean Trump "defaulted" on the loans if his net worth was below that. It might mean a conversation or a change in the rate, but it would not be a "material default" like missing an interest payment.

Trump actually admitted on the stand that he overvalued his Trump Tower apartment when he testified.

Might be more accurate to say she has spoken to investigators, she may have not have spoken to the grand jury. She may not be a witness.

We knew that Trump's lawyer, Evan Cochrane did speak to the grand jury in this case. This lawyer was part of the conversations he testified to AND she is currently working on Trump's GA case.

Attorney warned Trump 'it's going to be a crime' if he didn't comply with subpoena for classified docs: Sources Trump attorney Jennifer Little spoke with federal investigators, sources said.

One of former president Donald Trump's current attorneys told special counsel Jack Smith's team that, within days of the Justice Department issuing a subpoena last year for all classified documents at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, she "very clearly" warned Trump that if he failed to fully comply -- but then swore he did -- "it's going to be a crime," according to sources familiar with the matter.

Sources said the lawyer, Jennifer Little, told investigators Trump "absolutely" understood the warning, which came during a pivotal meeting at Mar-a-Lago with Trump and another attorney, Evan Corcoran, who had recently joined Trump's legal team.

The housing market crash didn't happen during the Obama years. This is not an obscure fact.

The financial crisis was well underway two months before the election.

Home prices in record plunge The National Association of Realtors reports that home prices dropped a record 12.4% in the final quarter of 2008 - the biggest decline in 30 years.

There's 1.4 million registered voters in Arizona who are not Democrats or Republicans?

Where are you getting this?

if every “unaffiliated” voter voted for Hobbs – it would still require an additional 70K republicans to flip, for Hobbs to beat Lake.

267,000 more Republicans than Democrats voted in the 2022 Arizona general election .....

And? Add Republican registered voters and Democratic registered voters up and what do you got?

You have far less than 100% of Arizona voters

There's another giant voting bloc in Arizona. In fact the biggest bloc of voters in AZ are neither Republican nor Democrat.
