Anyone have the UK one?
“Fighting fire with fire” is literally an expression of futility.
Indeed. Which is why I dislike this reporting because it undermines the real goings on.
Honestly, anything’s possible, but I listened to those tapes when they were released, and it definitely sounded much less like a threat and much more like sales tactics.
“Critically important to your economic and physical security”
First, this implies he’s talking about the country, not the president, because individuals don’t have “economies” they have “finances.” Second, every salesman ever will make promises about your misfortune for not buying their product, or for leaving them for their competitor — they’re not making threats when they say “I promise, if you buy a car from the other guys, you’re going to end up stranded on the side of the road.”
I think this is the sensationalist nonsense I’ve come to expect from infowars and serves more to obfuscate the real issues with those tapes than anything else. Not to mention, this isn’t anywhere near John Kerry going to foreign countries to make side deals working AGAINST the SITTING PRESIDENT, not just the president elect.
Yeah, fishy at the very least. Not sure if I got your intention here correctly, but it seems like you’re implying the evidence is pointing to a typical case of D projection — accusing someone else of their own misconduct to draw attention away, and of course eliminate a road block to their plans. Two birds, yeah?
Maybe if this was testimony from Kel I’d take it more seriously :p
But really, Kenan has been working alongside communists at SNL since he graduated Nickelodeon. He’s the [insert name of useless senator who’s served for decades] of NBC. If it was a coordinated defamation, I don’t feel like it would be to hard to get Kenan to lie, even if just to keep the only job he’s apparently capable of.
Taste the rainbow.
Explain gravity if the earth isn’t flat.
Pro tip: you can’t.
The so-called “law of gravity” is flawed. It’s merely the best model available for the phenomena known as attraction and repulsion, which Newton clearly regretted mis-labeling as “gravity” later in life — going so far as to wonder if he had been better off keeping his knowledge to himself based on the myriads of foolishness that others spawned from his works.
If you haven’t done so before, reading Newton’s papers, especially on Optics, are very worthwhile. The modern theory of gravity is a bastardized and incomplete model based on the Law Newton was examining.
TL;DR: Better to be the “idiot” who questions and is wrong than the sheep who believes without understanding. The latter will never gain understanding, but the former are destined to learn the truth and understand it.
Smart move. He’s trying to avoid the inevitable public wrath that is coming towards him and others.
Not sure it will work though, a little too late.
It’s a public community. As such, there are no commonly-held beliefs.
As an engineer, I certainly don’t buy into the flat earth conspiracy, because it’s very easily disproven when one is able to grasp even the crude laws of Nature, much less the more Subtle Laws.
However, I have always had a soft spot for the flat earthers because I admire that they, at the very least, are not taking anything for granted and questioning everything.
Sooner or later, they’ll learn for themselves the facts — and they’ll be better for it, having a much better understanding than the sheep who would just believe the earth is a globe simply because they’re told as much.
Oof. Those hurdles.
I still love that MIT research paper from a while back that studied the psychology of the “anti-vaxxer” and they found that they are on average “highly intelligent” and “prefer to read primary sources for themselves.”
And their solution was to hide primary sources from the public so they can obfuscate and control, even further, the narrative of the studies.
It’s a Pity what communism has turned the American education system into.
I do still wonder about Cosby. He still maintains his innocence, and knowing how hard he fought against the liberal corruption of black communities (with his “pull up your pants and stop saying the N-word” speeches), I just can’t shake the feeling that he was setup to some extent. I mean, he certainly, at least publicly, set good examples and was a role model for his community — easy to see why he would be a target.
I certainly don’t know that he was innocent, and it’s not impossible for someone to have certain strengths while still dealing with demons of another kind privately… but going back and reviewing the details of the case and the more recent rulings… it’s just a little suspect.
Would rather see percentages. This doesn’t really mean anything without the total sample sizes as context.
Plausible, but easily faked as well. Who knows at this point, and honestly, what does it change? Obamas are scumbags regardless.
It’s not that the Left loves cops, it’s that the Left (or the vast majority who are the useful idiots) have no convictions whatsoever, and operate entirely on impulse. Which is why their so-called “ideals” are contradictory.
For most people, especially those who have abandoned higher reason and intuition, everything is an isolated instance, and they are unable to think abstractly to understand how things are connected. It’s this ignorance that allows them to believe immoral actions are fine: because they don’t know the consequences, and refuse to believe there are unknown consequences. But this is true of all humans, to some degree or another.
The issue is that the most ignorant end of the spectrum are manipulated by the few who knowingly take advantage of their state of evolution, for their own selfish ends. Which is why they tend to congregate to one side, politically — that is — the side that panders to their impulses and denies consequence, which is very appealing to the unevolved human.
Remember to have compassion and pity for our lost brothers and sisters, who rather than receiving the loving and helping hand they need, have been fed lies that turned them vicious. The best, if not the only remedy, is to be a light and show them (without preaching) what waits for them once they learn to turn away from their destructive ways.
It’s not just masculine virtue that is on the brink of extinction in the Western world, it’s virtue in general. The same thing has happened to women, leaving hardly a woman left in the West who exemplifies feminine virtue.
Most are ignorant of the Law of Gender, and in the current age, have also lost the superstition that surrounded it from social norms. Which is a normal cycle for humanity. Capacity for intelligence increases, and following without understanding becomes less tenable, and so the need to rebel and throw the baby out with the bath water. Rather than blindly follow the guidelines formed by those who learned from experience in the past, they must rebel, and then face the same problems, to then come back to those rules with understanding.
Here is one meaning found in the parable of the Prodigal Son. Though, arguably one (very material) manifestation of a more Universal Law, much like sex being just one manifestation of the Universal Law of Gender.
Sure, it can go either way. But my point is, as we’ve seen from the farmers who stole a fighter jet and purchased a tank, it’s a REALLY risky play to make.
So if a strike is what they wanted, it means they’re not playing chess from a comfortable position, but rather a desperate and losing one.
Should design a new truly all-inclusive flag, fly it under the American flag in our own “American Pride” parades — to represent that everyone who loves their country (or more specifically, the founding principle of Liberty) are Americans first, regardless of ethnicity, orientation, gender, religion, or anything else.
Without that new addition, it would be labeled white supremacy (which it may anyway), but with the addition, most people would see through such a label, especially if it does a better job of promoting unity — the purported purpose of pride parades. And furthermore unity in something the majority Americans agree with.
Care would have to be taken to make sure it represents not just the political right, but all political parties (even if it is heavily right leaning in actuality), so that it is not seen as divisive by the average unthinking person.
Acceptance for all who march for Freedom, regardless of their individual conception of the idea.
Yes, they may benefit in the short term. But farmers on strike, as they are in the Netherlands, is a fire, in a thick, dying woods, on a hot, dry day.
If that was their plan, to set such a fire in hopes that it only burns what they intend, they are either extremely stupid, or are desperate and running out of plays.
I say properly counted votes would have saved us 4.
How about just “Virtue Month”
Democrats still just trying hard to get their slaves back.
“Debunked”
“They said the propaganda was unintentional. Changes from green to red were for the color blind not to create panic.”
Most common form of color blindness can’t differentiate between green and red.
I love that some people actually believe evidence is “debunked” because someone has a different explanation. Not irrefutable evidence, just a different opinion.
By their same logic, the OJ murder has been debunked. He said the glove didn’t fit, therefore he didn’t do it. Ignore reason and facts.
