FYI: AT&T here. iPhones. Husband and I on same account. Same household. His phone was not working or able to make calls, mine was. The only difference we could find is that he has IOS 17, and I don’t like to update, so I’m still 16. My sister (same town) was also operational. iOS 15. Not sure if that’s relevant, but interesting to note.
I hate Facebook, but, yeah, I still have an account that I look at every once in awhile.
As far as I know, I have never been asked if I want to see less of something.
Not on anything that one could potentially disagree about:
Not on political posts. Not on sports posts. Not on LGBT posts. Not on religious posts.
Definitely not on abortion posts.
But a post about a live newborn?
WTF?!
Not only that, but there would have been a tracking system put in place. Someone mentioned to me early on that what should have been done, instead of vaccine cards, was a way to tie your vaccination status to a drivers license or personal ID card (like they do with organ donors). Because it was all rolled out so quickly and ahead of schedule, no system was in place to track who got jabbed and who didn’t .
This is where I think the Red October reference is relevant. Instead of trying to block the vaccine, Trump pushed it through before they had time to get their ducks in a row. He turned around and drove the sub straight at them before they could arm the missile. So now they really have no clue who is actually vaccinated and who is not.
This is my precinct. I live very close by. For what it’s worth, my internet is fine.
