Same lol. Several restarts kicked my cell service in though. And my hardline internet was still up.
Update: its out again, has gone and come back on 3-4 times.
Me too. Been without it all morning. Was anxiously waiting on an emergency broadcast.

If one goes to downdetector dot com and clicks on the carrier and then clicks on the outage heat map, it shows where reports are coming in.
It looks like the northeast, southeast, and some areas of California are being hit hardest.
Some parts of the country are not experiencing any issues at all.
In my opinion only, a nationwide outage would be when everything truly goes dark and everyone is like what the hell do we do now?
Seems like a good test run for the real deal.

I've been searching loads all day. So Verizon in South Dakota is working
Seminole County FL 911 is down. We still have our landline and the County called to tell us it was down, but I know very few people still have their landlines. This could be really bad for those needing emergency services today.
But reflecting on this. It is only AT&T down. So Verizon/T-Mobile users can still call.

Starlink is the only thing working for me.
911 service is the only reason we still have a landline - that and we're on copper DSL here in the sticks so we may as well enable the POTS service.
But we never call out on it and don't pick it up when it rings, because most of the time, it's telespam.

4:10 am in Ohio, no cell service. It appeared to be restored around 5:10 here.

I just found my hand crack radio the other day. I guess good timing on my part if the outages last a bit longer and extends onto internet services as well.

FYI: AT&T here. iPhones. Husband and I on same account. Same household. His phone was not working or able to make calls, mine was. The only difference we could find is that he has IOS 17, and I don’t like to update, so I’m still 16. My sister (same town) was also operational. iOS 15. Not sure if that’s relevant, but interesting to note.
I’m on IOS 15. No AT&T cell. Daughters are on same account, iPhones updated to 17. Neither have cell signal (Denton, TX) or here in the same house.
Anyone worried this is the beginning of something?

My service is going just fine, have ATT, hubby work phone is Verizon and is working fine and have a few loved ones with US Cellular that are up and going. We've had no issues at all this morning.

I am quite aware (Consumer Cellular uses AT&T and T-mobile’s towers). Just glad it wasn’t my phone acting up.
In my area (PA), it's the land line that's down. The cell phones are (so far) working normally.
