Correct. It was a resolution adopted by the Texas GOP delegates and precincts at the state convention last week. There are hundreds of resolutions that are part of the platform adopted by the precincts, committees and thousands of delegates. It is quite a long process, but in the end the resolutions represent topics that the delegates expect their elected leaders to represent or uphold. They are basically a unified belief but are in no way a law. Whether or not the state representatives uphold those same beliefs are another matter.
I was there too but was in the general assembly when it happened. Everyone in my SD cheered when we heard someone had confronted Crenshaw. It was great to see Cornyn boo’d too. He looked genuinely shocked that we were not happy to see him. They both need to be run out of Texas.
I believe that Nextdoor was just taken over by Fakebook, but under a different shell company. All of our conservative groups in my area have been under attack too. Many of our posts have been deleted. https://www.mediagistic.com/blog/nextdoor-confirmed-to-be-part-of-facebook-audience-network
My first time in DC, I got to see Jon Voight, Nic Cage and Diane Kruger film scenes for National Treasure 2 in front of the White House. Little did I know at the time that I would someday admire him for his patriotism.
I’ve been there and the burgers are actually good. We also bought a lot of merchandise.
