Jesus never said “No” when a parent brought their child to be healed. He accomplished salvation and healing at the same time. Which is easier? To say your sins are forgiven or Take up your mat and walk? He said both because the Son of Man has authority to do both, and He did and He still does. Deliverance is in Christ. Healing is in Christ. Patience is in Christ. Happiness is in Christ. Comfort from suffering is in Christ. Life and growth is in Christ. Love is in Christ. All things are in Christ. God didn’t say “No.” He said “Yes!!! Christ!!!” He put you into Christ. It is of God that you are in Christ Jesus. For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are all answered “Yes!”

Jeremiah 17: “The heart is deceitful above all things And it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives? I, the Lord, search and examine the mind, I test the heart...“

Don‘t trust your deceitful, sick heart. Don’t lean on your own understanding. Trust the Lord with all your heart and fear Him only. Then He can lead you in the way, and the only way is Jesus. Don’t be fooled by this false, new age gospel.

In those times, get up and read God's Word. That's His speaking to you. Memorize a verse, and you'll always have His speaking.

The Greek word for "sorcery" in the Bible like in Revelation is pharmakeia. I think it all, quite literally, is a spell.

Perhaps I understood him incorrectly, but that was my genuine impression. If one chooses to celebrate Easter out of their love for the Lord, their celebration is to the Lord. But if one is bothered by its mixture, then they should also be free to follow their conscience. Either way, the living Christ and how He is leading each one of us should always precede tradition.

Daniel 7:25 talks about the horn on the fourth beast who spoke “great things” intending to “change the times and the law.” This could very well have something to do with time travel. I wish Christians would also read and seriously consider Revelation 17. Verse 17 clearly shows that for a certain amount of time, the beast performs the mind of God, even doing His will in utterly destroying Babylon— the same beast, the same government, that will later receive authority from the dragon to overcome the saints. According to 2 John, heresy is something that “goes beyond and does not abide in the teaching of Christ.” Many of these rabbit hole searchings, I believe, are “going beyond.” The Lord has given us the Word. We don’t need to know the deep things of Satan. We will be okay to focus on Christ. Enlightenment, great awakening. These are New Age terms. I’m telling you this because I’m presuming you are a Christian and want you to be careful. It wasn’t that the Watchers revealed things that we were supposed to find out ourselves. We were supposed to eat the tree of life. Not the tree of knowledge of good and evil. We were supposed to take in God as the tree of life as our source and life supply. We were supposed to fully depend on God for everything. This choice is still before us every day.

I was struck recently by Revelation 17. "For God has put it into their hearts to perform His mind and to perform one mind...until the words of God are accomplished." This is speaking about the beast and the 10 horns here. God Himself puts it in the antichrist's heart and the hearts of his 10 horns-- "ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom but receive authority as kings for one hour with the beast" to destroy Babylon. We definitely need to be discerning and watchful. Jugment will come when everyone is saying Peace! and Security!
