This has been my experience as well. The ones I've observed were either incompetent or unethical, because they flagrantly violated patient care rules. Extravasation from IV's placed in tissue rather than the vein with bags of fluid or meds running anyway, and non-patent IV's left in place for over 5 days. There were no consequences for them, which destroyed morale.

Capitalism is the only system that creates value and wealth by production of goods, respects private property, and prioritizes individual freedom of choice. No other economic system provides the same equality of opportunity. No other economic system has ever produced the depth and breadth of abundance and prosperity that capitalism has, because it is the only system that builds and supports a middle class.
The problem with our current economic system is that it's based on fiat currency that is created out of and based on nothing. Technological advancements have facilitated the unfettered expansion of the currency in circulation without needing to physically print any, resulting in its complete devaluation.
While our economic system may never had been purely capitalistic, we have allowed insidious socialist infiltration to erode the middle class leaving only the rich and the poor. All other economic systems are characterized by those two classes alone, with the rich making up a miniscule portion of the population and the poor the vast majority. Based on the financial devastation everyone except the very rich is experiencing that is driving more people into poverty and gutting the middle class, it's obvious that capitalism itself is not the problem.
