She continued on saying how so many patients say they never got this sick before from cold or viruses. Daughter had stroke symptoms (she got first two jabs back in 22.) The neurologist is running multiple test one of which is to test neck blood vessels (?). My guess is for clots. prayers appreciated but shes doing better and all symptoms have gotten better.

Hi, sorry to read this, please make sure to demand a D - Dimer blood test for any micro clotting coming from damage to the lining of small veins and artery's.
I’m pretty sure that is one of the test the neurologist is running, as he said they had to keep her overnight to run many different test. But I’ll ask.
A d dimer tests for regular clots but not the micro clots associated with vax injury and long Covid. There’s a different test that has to be sent to a specialty lab to detect any micro clots. I had long Covid and my d dimer came back normal but I could tell my blood was f’ed up because my circulation went to absolutely zero suddenly and out of nowhere, among other things.

No flu shots. I think I had a cold right before I got Covid which maybe weakened my immune system or maybe It’s something else. Interestingly my wife and I rarely both get sick at the same time but we were both extremely sick with Covid and the only other time I remember that happening was with swine flu around 2009.

D dimer should never be used as a diagnostic tool by itself. You can have sky high d dimer and be clot free.

Not every full bed generates positive revenue. Patients that don’t go for tests or procedures cost the hospital after a few days…. Then they’ll try to off load you to a sub acute rehab to cut their loses.
My entire extended family avoided the clot shot. I'm thankful for this, because my response to some of this bullshit would... not have been good.

I had the Chyna virus in Jan21, mildest cold of my life took a nap and felt good as new, but I have also not been sick from anything since then and I have three kids under 8 (ie germ delivery units) it’s like my immune system got a supercharge that hasn’t backed down. My jabbed relatives on the other hand just are constantly sick, one thing after another. We haven’t even had Christmas with them yet as they have had a new ailment every week since mid December.
Exactly this. I used to get sick approx once a year, just the usual cold/flu that lasts a week. My g/f and I both got what I guess was Covid in July '20 which was no big deal, just sleepy and loss of appetite for a few days. We never took any hoax test, and didn't take any kind of Rx, not even aspirin, but the amazing thing is I haven't had so much as a sniffle since then in 3-1/2 years.
I tell people the same thing you said, that I assume my immune system got stronger by recovering naturally from Covid. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier with the situation.
There is a shortage of 1 million nurses today.
With an increasing and aging population patients will become even more acute. Hospitals then desperately hire Traveling Nurses that cost more. Majority of these travelers are good but they are not from the community they work in. They stay a few weeks to a few months and onto another assignment. Travel pay is very enticing since it pays more. So even new grads once they pass their nursing exams dream of traveling. It takes years to get an experienced nurse and getting a degree gets one into a job, nothing truly replaces on-the-job experience.
I am a retired RN, but when we used travel nurses, there was little accountability. Their term is 13 week assignments and they can choose to renew, go on to another assignment or take a full time offer from where they were assigned (most don’t want to do that).
This has been my experience as well. The ones I've observed were either incompetent or unethical, because they flagrantly violated patient care rules. Extravasation from IV's placed in tissue rather than the vein with bags of fluid or meds running anyway, and non-patent IV's left in place for over 5 days. There were no consequences for them, which destroyed morale.

All of our more mature nurses are leaving so we have many fresh youngsters that haven’t been on the floor long enough to develop a skill set. It’s sad.

I just want to add that my grandma is currently in the hospital and when my mom took her into the ER it was completely packed. They said that all the emergency rooms/hospitals are full/overloaded and one of the nearby hospitals was set to divert their incoming patients to this hospital. according to them, 90% of everyone who was sick either had Covid, the Flu, or RSV.
Take that as you will, but this is what I'm told.
Most people don’t understand that hospitals are typically 85-90% full during the week. Weekends and some evenings they go to 90-100% full. It’s a business. If they are empty they go broke.
Firefighter here, we run mostly medical calls and work with ambulance.
I was in the ER visiting a friend who checked in with respiratory issues. The ER lobby was packed with people wearing masks, which was odd to me because nobody else in the hospital had masks on, including my friend and the ER staff

I'm one of those who never got sick before, but get sick all the time now. My whole life, I got a cold once every 2 or 3 years. Over Christmas week this year I was really bad off, but I'm ALREADY sick again with a fever and spent all day the past two days sneezing, coughing, have severe congestion, and migraines. I take zinc, curcumin, Zicam, dayquil, colloidal silver and even bought nasal spray today. Nothing is touching the sicknesses I get now.
You get the jab? Look into adding quercetin and bromelain to that mix. Consistently take it everyday if your body tolerates it. I do and haven’t been sick in 2 years.

Wow, I can't imagine the discipline it would take to stick to that diet. You're a stronger person than I am.
I did Keto for about 2 months last year to lose weight. After a couple of weeks, my weight really started to drop fast. I also felt better and had a lot more energy than I usually did. I slept better, didn't have as many little nagging aches and pains, and I think it even helped clear up a patch of psoriasis I had.
But it was such a struggle to keep up. My biggest problem was food fatigue. There just wasn't a lot of variety. Or I just didn't try hard enough to plan meals. I got really tired of eating the same things over and over.
After I got to my goal weight I started easing carbs back in. It made me appreciate fresh fruits and vegetables again.
But it's great that you're able to keep to it. There are some really good benefits from that diet.

Your problem isn't food fatigue, it's over-stimulation of your senses. I revel in the nuanced flavors of the different cuts of steak. I love the tastes of the different single-blossom raw honeys. I tried a banana a few years back and it tasted sickly sweet.
Remember neurology is a junk science…. It is based only on opinion. Get far away from any neurologist. I work in medicine and this is apt advice.
