I've got chooks as well so always have fresh eggs and Im on my own power supply so I'm probably more self sufficient than a lot of people. I share though,always give my excess eggs away to those in need in town.

Bad storms on the East coast apparently. Parts of Queensland are flooded. Fine and sunny where I am but I've got bushfires in towns to the north east and south of me that I'm keeping an eye on.

The WA people left 4 days ago and shouldn't be far away from arriving. The ones still in Perth stopped traffic on the freeway this morning during peak hour.

Another thing that can help with clearing your chest and nasal passage is a few drops of eucalyptus oil in a bowl of steaming water and covering your head with a towel and breathing it in. I use it for colds here in Aus. Hope you feel better soon.
