Preterism, Futurism and Historicism are three of the 4 main schools of thought concerning interpretation of the book of Revelation. The 4th one is "Idealist" which says Revelation is heavily symbolic and contains descriptions of ongoing conflicts over time. What I wrote is a sort of book report concerning the things various theologians have believed and written about. Are these down votes for Martin Luther and John Calvin?
Francisco Ribera (1537–1591) was a Spanish Jesuit theologian, identified with the Futurist Christian eschatological view.

Historically, preterists and non-preterists have generally agreed that the Jesuit Luis de Alcasar (1554–1613) wrote the first systematic preterist exposition of prophecy Vestigatio arcani sensus in Apocalypsi, published during the Counter-Reformation.[2]
Preterism: Invention of the Jesuits. Prophecy almost all in the past, completed in 1st-2nd century AD, Antichrist is Nero.
Futurism: Invention of the Jesuits. Most popular end times prophecy among Protestant churches in America today. Includes rapture, followed by 7 year tribulation and evil last days Antichrist who signs a covenant with Jewish people and sits in a rebuilt Jerusalem temple as Messiah. Second coming of Christ at the end of the 7 year period. Revelation prophesies mostly take place during the final 7 years.
Historicism: Protestant Reformers believed that the Antichrist was the papacy/pope. Final pope will be destroyed by Christ at his second coming. Revelation prophecies unfold over time, and mainly concern church history between the first and second advents of Christ.
For example, the 7 seals symbolically concern the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. There are other historical events concerning the trumpets and vials/bowls. Revelation tells about papal Rome, the rise of Islam, the Protestant Reformation, the Counter Reformation run by the Jesuits, French Revolution, Napoleon, and interestingly "the drying up of the Euphrates" which points to the end of the Ottoman Empire in WWI, which opened the way for the re-establishment of modern Israel.
We are apparently somewhere between the 6th and 7th vials. After that comes the judgment of Mystery Babylon, which is Rome. So we are in the end stages of history, looks like, Biblically speaking.
OK, there are conspiracy theorists who say:
It's the 13 bloodlines!
It's the committee of 300!
It's the Jesuits!
It's the Khazarian mafia!
It's the Freemasons!
etc.
I finally decided they are all in cahoots, but that there is a satanic hierarchy. You have to pay to play, and if you step out of control, you get the JFK treatment or something similar.
Does everybody here think the "good guys" are gonna conquer Satan?
I think Christ will do that when he returns, which I think is maybe not so far away.
This movie was filmed in my hometown. My Dad worked at the military base. My friend was an extra. This movie was a fairy tale. When I lived there, that was the good old days. That America doesn't exist anymore. The old world doesn't exist anymore, if it ever did. Don't know what's gonna happen, but at the moment, optics are not lookin' good. At least Richard Gere and his girlfriend had a happy ending.
In the US, shutdown for "2 weeks" started in March 2020. Borders were closed. Do you remember when mail in ballots started? (I don't remember the start time.) People supposedly did mail in to avoid C19 exposure, but there were truckloads of fake ballots, and yes, they spent days calculating how many Biden "ballots" were needed for the "most secure" election in history.
I don't wanna go through that again. C19 was the biggest scam in history.
Uncle Mitch is highly controlled. I think he is only still there because his seniority gives him a certain amount of power that is useful to the DS. I have seen him a couple of times with a look of terror of being disposed of.
Well, I believe a bonafide one world government is in the works and to be dropped upon us fairly soon. I don't think it will last long, however. Somebody has to survive, because the plan includes massive depop.
I have been reading about historicist interpretation of Revelation, and they say we are between 6th and 7th bowl judgments, which is near the end of history.
God vs Satan. I wonder who will win?
Bible says planets are wandering stars. They show up various places. Other stars are "fixed." The Pole Star stays dead center, because it is the center. Constellations rotate around Polaris with the seasons, but keep their places. Ever wonder why we hurtle through space (allegedly) 365 days a year, but the sky stays virtually the same? How in the world did God keep the sun in the sky so the Israelites could keep fighting? Did God stop the Earth's rotation for a day? Nope. But he kept the sun in the sky. How did he do that? Why does sea level always appear level? Why doesn't it look curved? Why does Greta Thunberg think we should get rid of carbon dioxide? Did she skip elementary school science class? Does she have a death wish?
Moon landings were fakery when we were still very naive. Wonder why there are no more moon landings? Because you can't go there, and perhaps now it is too difficult to fake? Moon rocks were tested and found to be from Antarctica. They say Stanley Kubrick shot all the moon landing footage in a studio. The astronauts were all Freemasons. I went to the astro"not" museum in Florida. Oh man, it was so fake looking. After I saw those cheap looking Hollywood props, I was sure we never went there.
Did you know the Bible says there is a firmament [which covers the flat Earth]? You cannot "crack" the firmament open and escape. There are rumors that it has been tried. Did you know all the ancients drew maps of a flat Earth? Did you know the UN map is of a flat Earth? What do they know they are not telling us?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_the_United_Nations
Did you know nobody can go to Antarctica or fly over Antarctica or even get near to Antarctica without special permission? They will chase you away.
In some flat Earth maps, you don't see a continent of Antarctica. You see a ring of ice around the circle of the Earth. It is like a shelf or a wall. Hm-mm. Could that have something to do with why you are not allowed to go there?

I don't doubt some people have seen what they thought were ETs. I also don't doubt some people have seen what they thought were ghosts. I also don't doubt the Bible. So I think these sightings are angels or fallen angels making themselves visible. Earth is God's main concern. Why do I think so? Because he sent his son here. I don't think there are other life forms.
I also think the Earth is flat, the planets are wandering stars, and we never went to the moon. There, I said it.
This should help:

These very popular teachings started with Rome and later moved to the Protestants, who absorbed and adapted and promoted them. Futurism is by far the most popular set of end times teachings in the Christian world today. It caused people to "not see" that the papacy (both white popes and Jesuit black popes) are the Antichrist and False Prophet. Even just recently, I have been trying to sort this out, because it seems we are getting near to the end of prophetic times described in Revelation when Christ may return.
I think that Rome is promoting Futurism for their own "end times" goals of world domination.
When I was in HS, girls told me there would be a one world government, a one world religion, and a one world currency before the Second Coming. This part is probably true. I think Rome, Khazarian Mafia, and Freemasons are all in cahoots with this.
I don't believe in a "secret" rapture followed by 7 years of hell on earth followed by the Second Coming. I used to believe that because I was told so in HS before I was a believer. When I did begin to have faith, I just assumed my HS friends had told me the truth. Later I learned there are different schools of interpretation, and I settled on what scripture told me:
Gospel of John, Ch. 11: 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home. 21 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
Thess. 4: [resurrection/"rapture" on the last day]: 15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together ["rapture"] with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Then Christ will take vengeance on his enemies: 2 Thess.1 6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Recently I am studying about the "Historicist" school of interpretation of Revelation. This is what the Reformation era theologians believed and taught. The "pre-trib rapture/7 years trib/futurist dispensationalist" teachings originated with the Jesuits of Rome. According to this Historicist school, all the seal and trumpet judgments have been fulfilled gradually over the past 1900 years. Now, we are between the 6th and 7th bowls/vials. This is where the guess of a WW3 and economic collapse fulfillment are being speculated. But everyone here knows these events are possible. I don't know how many years this will last. It seems maybe not so long. Christ said we should keep watch for him. If the world collapses, people will be crying out for the "peace and safety" that a one world government would [potentially] give them.
All that UN/WEF crazy stuff. I have no idea how much they are going to succeed in applying, nor the exact time frame.
Well, I was believing something like this back in 2020 because I felt there was no other option at the time, and I was seeing Trump do all these power moves. Except I don't see it as white males. They are always bashing white males, and they want them all dead.
I'm a Calvinist, so I don't actually believe in the concept of free will.
Christ tells me: "You did not choose Me, but I chose you."
Salvation works like this:
From eternity, the Father chose certain people for salvation.
In the fullness of time, Christ came to Earth and died for them, His Bride, completely erasing all the sins. Yay.
At an appointed time in a chosen sinner's life, the Holy Spirit will spiritually regenerate the individual, and such will begin to understand spiritual truth. Before that, you're just a pagan bumping around in Satan's dark kingdom, like everyone else. Check out Romans Chapter 9.
I'm grateful God saved me from my stupid self.
The Bible says that God is absolutely sovereign in all things.
It also says that God made everything for His glory.
Scripture also says that God chose "the foolish things of this world in order to shame the wise." So I'm happy God chose me to be a "foolish thing."
Everyone should wish to be one of those "foolish things," also.
Video is high quality and good explanation of why the Protestant Reformers believed the pope/papacy to be the Antichrist. I agree with this conclusion because it makes sense. The papacy is responsible for the persecutions, torture and deaths of millions of Protestants.
