He was one of the original backers (among many others including PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel and Amazon) but as of 2020 he's had no involvement with the company.

Think of buying an NFT as buying proof that you own something. So others may copy the image and use it, but on the blockchain it will always say that you are the true owner of said image - until you decide to sell the NFT, in which case the buyer then becomes the new "true" owner.

Quote from the article: "A former Pennsylvania Democrat congressman has been sentenced to 30 months in prison after committing fraud favoring Democratic candidates.

The Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that Michael “Ozzie” Myers pleaded guilty to conspiring to illegally vote in a federal election and deprive civil rights, voting records falsification, bribery, obstruction of justice, and orchestrating ballot-stuffing schemes in Pennsylvania’s 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 elections."

Information travels at the speed of light in a vacuum, the same as it does in a fibre optic cable.

This is false.

There is a physics formula for calculating the speed of light in different mediums:

Speed of light in the medium = Speed of light in a vacuum/Refractive index of the medium

The refractive index of silica glass (what most fiber optics are made of) is 1.5, and the speed of light in a vacuum is 3x10^8 m/s, therefore

Speed of light in silica = 3x10^8/1.5 = 2x10^8

So you can see that information in fiber optic cables will travel at 2x10^8 m/s vs. 3x10^8 m/s in a vacuum, or about 33% slower.

This also does not take into account the fact that there is also a net slow-down effect because the light is bouncing off the sides of the cable as it travels.

You're right, those are arrows - he's from a unit called the Royal Company of Archers and part of their uniform consists of an unstrung bow and arrows tucked in their belt, which is what you're seeing.

The guard who collapsed is part of a ceremonial unit from Scotland called the Royal Company of Archers whose members are mostly over 70-years-old. They've been rotating in 20-minute shifts during the vigil but I can imagine how challenging it is for folks at that age to stand straight and motionless for long periods of time.

Roll call #409 - which failed and on which she voted "Yea" - was a "motion to recommit". It was essentially one final attempt to bring the bill back to the House to debate and amend the measure before the vote on final passage.

Roll call #410 - which passed and on which she voted "Nay" - was the actual vote on the passage of the bill.

If they wanted to, it would be fairly easy for someone on the dev or QA team to make a troll account
