I still think these numbers are a bit high... but many of my friends are unvaxxed ... but it is such a hot subject I don't raise the subject with people unless I know where they stand from something they have said.

Australian Embassies in the US are in NYC, LA, Chicago, San Francisco, Honolulu, Houston, & Washington, DC. They are all too far for me to travel for a quick day trip, but I will see about organizing something locally on the date. We are a small coastal town, but pretty conservative, by & large. We have mostly continued life as usual here, with <50% of people wearing masks since mid-2020, which is remarkable considering the high number of retirees who are really unconcerned about masks, vaccine status, or social distancing. If no one is symptomatic, most people seem unconcerned. Those who are still worried about C19, (sigh) ... they truly appear to have mental health problems and/or ugly attitudes.

yeah, the timing on that was really incredible. whoever negligently or deliberately loaded a live round into the gun that Baldwin would have in his hand to run through that scene might have done so at any other time in filming, but it happened smack in the middle of October. Filmmakers stage and rehearse and film and reshoot and film from different angles and do close ups of the same scene until the director feels they have sufficiently captured the story the scene is meant to tell... but this 'happened' to happen in October.

The whole Q plan is far too big for them not to have considered the specific contingency of who they were going to put in place to replace dying or retiring Supremes. They must have been given some degree of security clearance to proceed as white hat Patriot Insiders because the administration knew what they would be facing an 2020.
