I too am a New Chicken Owner, I use an infrared heat lamp for a couple hours at nite and then again in the morning, My daughter has many chickens and lives at high elevation in he mountains and she says Chickens handle cold weather without any any problems, the light however promotes egg laying! And I feel better about the cold!

one of my golfing friends told me last night, out of no where severe arthritis kicked in in about 30 days right after he got his booster shot using a cane now and just yesterday he was diagnosed with Parkinsons ! He is blaming the shots! Says very bad mistake indeed!
