The movie is based on a novel - a horribly written, depressing, cliched mess. I only read it because it was free and wish I had the wasted time back. I won't waste more time on the film, but from what I've read it strays from the plot to expand on the nature of the attack.
No other book has left me feeling more ... awful. Please don't make the mistake I did.
Great post, fren. Polish and proud of my heritage too as well as the staunch independence displayed by Poland in general. Ignorance about the Polish continues to this day, and I always call out offensive comments to help stop the idea we can be punching bags for moronic attempts at humor.

I said this in the 2020 election - machines were in my voting place, hard wired to something. Had to scan in my vote. No record of my or my spouses vote exists. It's like we never went. Emailed, called, demanded answers. Nothing. Multiply this times who knows what.
Prayer always brings out what's on the left column because it draws us closer to God. Any time you feel what's on the right, take a moment to reflect and be grateful for anything and everything, no matter your circumstances.
