Nah, not bitter. Just somewhat perplexed on how we can flip from being attentive supporters who read meaning into even the most minute actions, to casually dismissing his stated wishes.

Honestly, Gaetz' actions sound like what a toddler would do. President Trump has made it clear that he backs McCarthy. Gaetz' move isn't patriotic, it's just getting attention while also not doing what President Trump has asked. We really shouldn't support this.

But President Trump endorsed him. Maybe McCarthy is a turncoat, or just a spineless politician, but we know that President Trump is a master of 5d chess. If he says he's good, then we need to move forward. This stalling tactic is senseless.

Sometimes life has a way of moving past things like wants and hopes. This isn't about what you or I want, it's about saving America. If we all just go off and ignore the best, most clear directives from the greatest patriot of our time, then we will lose and MAGA will just fissile out, another generation lost.

President Trump is the embodiment of MAGA. He's our leader. One day, he may appoint another to succeed him, but when it comes to crucial battles, we have to support him. If the last two years haven't shown that, then there are a lot more people asleep here than I initially though.
