Holy crap. That was one of the theories in the beginning of all this that I dismissed as far fetched. I wonder if it had anything to do with that concert recently where people were dropping dead and squishing eachother.

Fair question. Before covid it was definitely like that, no questions asked. The only time I’ve called in since was right before a scheduled vacation and for that they want a doctors note. So it may still be. But also I work with idiots who might like the assurance that they aren’t exposed or whatever. I have a good relationship with my managers and don’t want to appear secretive all of a sudden.

Thanks for the good reminder. As a growing Christian I keep finding myself muddying this up with my OCD. Can’t stop thinking about the Lord and thinking I’m not doing enough and forget that Jesus already saved me and already loves me. Any good thing we can do is just a bonus.
Had my first kid before all this nonsense started, and back then we were still careful not to have too many people touching her and not at all of they were sick.
I’d just wear a mask near the baby or stay away from the baby to make her comfortable. It’s not too extreme or violating of her to ask that. Not like some families excluding the non clotshotted

Last night in my martial arts club we were talking about thanksgiving plans and someone i used to respect was asked if her whole large family was coming to their house. She started rattling off the family members whose kids are too young to get vaxxed that wouldn’t be coming, but how all the rest were. If my jaw were not attached it would have hit the floor. That’s an entire bloodline that ends at the current generation I guess.
