Jeez, we're going to have a whole medicine chest full of safe, effective and cheap treatments for "covid" before we're through.

Be careful. Drugs like Benadryl are linked to dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Try to keep use minimal. It may be worth looking into natural options like valerian and lemon balm.

Lol oh cmon don't scare people like that. One can find a statistically significant correlation coefficient for any matter of harmless substances and worrisome neurological conditions. If one were inclined to distort the data and sampling pools in order to produce such outcome

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– powershellder 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

I’m not attempting to scare people.

There are many studies linking Benadryl and similar drugs to dementia.

If they are interested, they can read about it and decide for themselves.

They may decide the risk isn’t relevant to them and continue using it as a sleep aid—that is completely their right.

But they should be aware there is (I believe) credible evidence that it may cause harm.

Well if you're right, then it certainly would seem like modern medicines are in fact guised poisons indoctrinated into our psyche as helpful since the day we were born

Hubs and I tested posiive for Covid in Sept, other than some prescrip meds for cough and nausea for him (I didn't get it as bad) we treated it with Dayquil/Nyquil, soup, Gatorade and rest. Hubs calls Covid "flu with extra seasoning"

You need more potassium than Gatorade supplies. In times of stress on the body, the demand for potassium and zinc goes way up. Try keeping potassium supplements on hand to take with the Gatorade and see if that really kicks things into gear.

From the conclusion section:

Specific antihistamines exhibit off-target sigma receptor binding activity, and also exhibit antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2, including clemastine, cloperastine, astemizole, hydroxyzine, azelastine and diphenhydramine.

When I had covid in August I was living on Mucenex, benadryl, and Zertec. Benadryl at night and Zertec during the day, until i got this strange itching rash all over. It was a long 8 hours for the nightly benadryl dose to wear off. I roughed it without antihistamines after that. Both zertec and Benadryl are antihistamines, and should not be taken together. Leading up to the rash I was having some mild shingles symptoms around my kidneys and back. A few weeks later I suspected that may have had a close call with eipstein bar syndrome, and it might not have been the antihistamines. The antihistamines were great at reducing the cough symptoms, and making sleep possible. It must dry up that drip down the back of your throat or something.

I am not a doctor. But i will look ip max daily safe dosages for different drugs to "treat" myself when needed. Diphenhydramine is like 400 mg per day. When in the military and dreading trans Atlantic flights because i was a smoker, i would take a fairly large dose to make sure i slept through the flight over the ocean.

Glad to see it also has other more current usefulness.

Bio weapons are not meant to be a long term thing. They hit fast and hard with no apparent treatment, kill scores of people and then go away. After the fact we find out that there are tons of safe, effective, and cheap treatments for the weapon so using it again in fruitless. But in this case we've been front row to the biggest deception and theft in world history that continues today. But the good news is the narrative is collapsing in on it's self.
