Many thanks for your kind words. :-) Geez, so sorry to hear that Florida got invaded during COVID and was ruined in multiple ways. That's awful! :-(
Why would people flee to Florida during the CV lockdowns and then bring their Commie/tyranny values there?? Baffling! If they love tyranny so much, why not stay where they are?? But that's what tons of Californians have done to Texas - especially Austin metro. San Francisco tech sector workers have taken over Austin's 'mini Silicon Valley' and brought their Commie values with them - bigly.
Back to Florida though... I went to FL on vaca a couple of times in 2021 and absolutely loved it there. Actually started considering moving there after those wonderful trips. Sounds like it's gone downhill since then though, based on what you're saying. :-(
I went to Trump's 7/3/21 rally in Sarasota and then went on to enjoy the Trump floatilla boats and major fireworks on the water of Tampa Bay on 7/4/21. It blew my mind how much Trump love was being displayed by the people at both locations and everywhere in between. Everywhere you looked, residents were flying Trump flags on their cars and boats - it was so awesome! After that, I went on a bunch of dolphin spotting boat rides at Clearwater Beach too. I really love Clearwater Beach!
Went back to Clearwater Beach later in 2021 for more dolphin spotting boat rides and jet skiing, and spent several days on Islamorada Key where I went swimming with dolphins multiple times and explored this amazing sea creature habitat with incredible dolphin and sea lion shows called Theater of the Seas.
Are there any parts of Florida that are still nice, not infested by libs, affordable, residents speak ENGLISH predominantly, and seem safe crime-wise? If so, where would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
Should probably add "property taxes" into the mix as well. TX property taxes are astronomical compared to many other states. For example, property taxes in Austin (Travis county) are 2% per year - which is TWICE the rate of Los Angeles county at 1% per year. And in Travis county, the property tax rate is based on CURRENT estimated home value (based on prices of neighboring home sales) - described as "assessed value" vs. in L.A. county it's based on the PURCHASE price.
So, in effect, Texas charges home owners every year a hidden 'capital gains' tax in the form of ridiculous property taxes on UNREALIZED capital gains from an "assessed value" of their home that they haven't materially earned anything from because they haven't sold it to realize any gains.
Also, in Texas, your home can be subject to MULTIPLE counties' property taxes COMBINED! I know someone who moved from L.A. county to Frisco, TX (suburb north of Dallas) and their house was in some type of cross-over border line between Collin county and Denton county somehow, which subjected them to paying property taxes for BOTH counties. And they don't even have any children either re: property taxes 'paying for schools' (which is even more unfair on top of it). After they moved to Texas, they were like, "What the eff did we get ourselves into?!?"
So, all these hidden 'gotchas' in taxes are just laying around like land mines waiting to blow your legs off, basically. :-(
This tax info is a tad misleading b/c sales tax rates vary from state to state too. Texas doesn't have a state "income" tax, but we've got 8.25% sales tax - which is pretty steep. IMO, for this type of data analysis to be more precise, it should include the state & local taxes along with the state "income tax" rate too. These scumbags steal our money coming and going - they just use different names/categories to justify it. Sigh.
Exactly! POTUS Trump is always 5 (or 10?) steps ahead. :-)
Another reason it's so great that POTUS Trump signs his presidential documents on video and live TV! :-)
And here we were probably thinking we'd get "Biden's" signed laws and EOs voided b/c of the 2020 stolen election. Who'd have thought we might see a reversal of "Biden's" presidential actions due to a fake signature on all of his "signed" documents. I'll take the win from whichever direction that the reason/cause is. =-)
This sounds like a way for Texas officials to prevent going along with arresting and deporting illegals or something. =-O
Surprised that AJ didn't mention any hint re: whether or not it looked as if Jamie was targeted (possibly to silence him about a story he was researching or had reported on) vs. if the crime scene's evidence looked more like it was a random attack (like a typical gang banger or a robbery gone wrong).
In that video, it looks as if those ships hit each other SEVERAL times. Did the ships just bounce off each other and it was like a recoil or something? 'Cuz it looked like multiple collisions of the same 2 ships on that video, IMO. Super strange.
I meant 'legally' speaking (i.e., What legal authority would/does a Senator have to prevent/block a release of Presidential-ordered declassified files)? I don't think the Senate 'owns'/possesses these files, nor would the publishing of these files require the Senate's 'blessing' either, right? My understanding is that POTUS has the authority to declassify and publish whatever the hell he wants. Am I wrong on that?
The files that we've been repeatedly promised (Epstein info, JFK, RFK, MLK, etc.) would be published by a Cabinet member appointed by POTUS at the direction of POTUS, right? So those people would be the likes of Kash Patel (FBI), Pam Bondi (AG), Tulsi Gabbard (DNI), John Ratcliffe (CIA), etc. There aren't any of these documents I know of that would be getting published by the Senate body or individual Senate member. So this makes zero sense to me re: a Senator "blocking" the release of any declassified files ordered by POTUS.
So are you suggesting that one (or more) of POTUS Trump's Cabinet members who's supposed to publish (allegedly) declassified files is compromised then? If so, which Cabinet member(s) do you suspect are compromised? I've never liked or trusted Bondi, so the Epstein files release (a.k.a. ongoing fiasco) doesn't surprise me one bit. Curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
What I don't understand is how Senators have ANY power to block a Presidential declassification order. Senator Cotton somehow blocking the JFK files release and Senator Blumenthal blocking the Epstein files release? What in the world gives any Senators the power to stop a Presidential order?? I don't get it.
People (Trump admin) can’t claim to be “pro free speech” while - at the same time - censoring the free speech of anyone who is anti-Israel (Mossad).
That’s actually what I’m really concerned about re: Epstein “clients” and co-conspirators. If Kash has to clean out and replace the FBI with GOOD people, and then do thousands of “investigations” and grand juries before any charges are brought, nobody is even going to reach the point of being brought to trial before POTUS Trump leaves office.
Houston is literally “the most diverse city in the USA” and white straight Christians are maybe 1 in 10 people around there - even the suburbs. Totally infiltrated by foreigners and illegals - probably worse than Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio combined. I’ve lived in 3 of those 4 cities and have seen it first hand. It’s awful - we’re totally losing our state’s (previous) identity.
We can’t get rid of Gov. Abbott in Texas b/c POTUS Trump keeps endorsing him. Sigh…
Sorry to hear that. :-(
Texan patriots disown these rats. We don't know how they got/keep their seats (cough, cough - maybe cheating)...
Thanks for sharing that. BTW, what is a "pop-up pundit"? I haven't heard that phrase before (please pardon my ignorance re: that terminology). :-)
Too much of a coinkydink to dismiss Barrett's adopted Haiti kid, IMO. :-O
My biggest wish re: the Ukraine/Russia sitch is that it gives POTUS a super justifiable reason to pull the USA out of NATO (and he actually does it). =-D
Didn't Barrett get her black adopted kids from Haiti (via Clinton Foundation)? And based on one of the pics I saw just before or the day she was sworn in, at least one of her kids looked kinda trans too. :-(
Yet ANOTHER tranny terrorist? How many we got so far? Unbelievable!
^ This!
