^^^ this! Looking at a party map of the state there are very few blue specks and hard as the left tries, the rest of us arenāt buying their crap. Both my kids live in Austin (they are not liberal) so I visit often to see my grandbabies.
I was a bit shocked in 2024 compared to 2020. In 2020, 9 out of 10 yards had blue political signs. In 2024, 9 out of 10 yards had NO political signs at all. I donāt know if Iām ready to go out on a limb and say the tides are turning in Travis County, but I sure donāt see as many signs of irritating liberal policy as I have in the past.
I live just north of Dallas, but never go into that shit hole so I canāt comment on whatās going on there, but I do have liberal friends who no longer support the left.
Think they are some collectively INSANE people living there. I went once to replace windows in a home in a trendy area. Pretty soon there were 10 people in the yard (during the workday!) complaining to us about discarding the old windows! I thought they wanted the old windows but nope, they wanted us to take them to habitat for humanity (they donāt take old, inefficient broken single pane windows) and I offered to help load them into their PRiuses and Subarus so THEY could take them but they just wanted to argue. Nobody wanted to actually do the work. I went back inside and let the homeowner deal with them. Later I turned around as I was working and there was one of them INSIDE the house wanting to argue the situation! The homeowner had left to run an errand.
Later one of the neighbors stopped by and asked if we could switch his windows out for him at night from the inside so nobody would know. Hahahahaha
Like I said. They are nuts.

Thomas Jefferson told the American people that when the voters discover they can vote themselves other people's money the Republic would be done, and that is exactly where we are today.
We were also told this government would only work with an educated citizenry, and the stupid is so widespread and entrenched it is going to be extremely hard to stop the rot. The cabal controlled education system has been working tirelessly to spread the stupid for many decades now, and a huge segment of society has embraced stupidity as cool.

Dems have been trying very hard to flip TX blue. Austin is obviously the San Francisco of TX and Dallas is the LA of TX. The people need to put a stop to this shit ASAP. Every one of these shit bags were frauded into office, and they're going to continue unless stopped!
What's sad about Austin is that it is even more California than California itself. It is definitely more on par with Portland or Seattle.

Maybe we need to establish some tests to get a voter ID, and eliminate the apathetic and stupid from the process.

Dallas used to be HARD red.
Colorado used to be bright red.

Houston is literally āthe most diverse city in the USAā and white straight Christians are maybe 1 in 10 people around there - even the suburbs. Totally infiltrated by foreigners and illegals - probably worse than Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio combined. Iāve lived in 3 of those 4 cities and have seen it first hand. Itās awful - weāre totally losing our stateās (previous) identity.
Houston seems to be one giant traffic jam with horrible smog, and bad weather 9 months of the year! If you weren't born and raised there, I don't know why anyone would move there unless some job paid REALLY well!
