Rubio will always be "Lil Marco" who's a "choke artist" (Trump branding) in my mind. And Trump's imitation of Rubio with that water bottle (after Rubio did the Republican response & kept going off camera to take a gulp of water) is one of my all-time fave POTUS skits - LOL!
Great point. I've definitely noticed that at Trump rallies too. Attendees are so joyous and friendly - there's just 'love in the air' around the entire venue, like you're visiting a "love bubble"! I've always met the nicest people whenever I've been at Trump rallies. We are MAGA family!
That hug was a waterworks trigger for me - not just from the wonderful gesture and joy beaming from DJ's face, but how kind Sean Curran was to him and the endearing look on Curran's face during that special moment too. Big fan of Curran for many years and now I only love him MORE. :-)
Actually worse - they USED their hands to hold up those awful auction-bidding style signs with lame phrases (e.g., "FALSE" and "MUSK STEALS") printed on them throughout Pres. Trump's whole speech. So disrespectful and childish. :-(
LOL - yeah, I think I'm gonna stick with the DJ/Curran moment. That's when the tears started for me.
Dang, tough call between those two - might need to re-watch and possibly reconsider. :-)
I got choked up even more when DJ reached over and gave Sean Curran a big (and unexpected) hug. That was actually my fave moment of the evening.
What irks me even more than these loons being so disrespectful during the POTUS SOTU speech with these b.s. signs, loud booing, constant disruptions, and obvious America-hating lack of applause on so many topics is that all their stupid, professionally-printed and coordinated hand-held "FALSE" (and other phrases) signs and their black "RESIST" t-shirts were paid for with OUR TAX DOLLARS!
You're so lucky to have a majority of conservatives for co-workers! Ever since 2015, I've had nothing but TDS co-workers who think that it's fun and cool to bash Trump during work and to ostracize anyone who doesn't join in their Trump-hating rants. :-(
I've withstood 10 years of that TDS bullshit among co-workers & bosses, and years of peer & govt pressure re: compliance with masking/social distancing/vaxxing. By the grace of God I never caved.
Indeed. I’m merely sharing what I’m seeing among my MAGA normie friends, which is becoming pretty concerning to me. Whenever I “talk Trump” with them, they’re hyper-focused on all the things they’re feeling duped about (by certain Cabinet members) instead of anything positive. That’s alarming to me as it’s becoming more prevalent and stronger (negative) language being used by them. :-(
I’m not talking about me. I’m talking about MAGA normies - which faaaaaaar outnumber us and make up the vast majority of Trump’s base.
I do trust the plan. However, all my Trump-supporting normie friends are becoming angrier and more frustrated because of all the perceived back-tracking on Cabinet members public statements. My concern is about the MAGA normie masses losing confidence and trust in this administration.
Nobody needs to convince me of anything. I started following Q as of 11-1-17. But we can’t be delusional in thinking that the majority of everyday Trump supporters are aware of a fraction of what we’ve been privy to learning.
The last thing I want to see is POTUS losing the strong support of his base, and I’m seeing (among my MAGA friends) their support fading fast, based on the presto-change-o 180’s we’ve seen ftom Bondi, Kash, and RFK Jr. thus far.
There may be an upside of “some people being exposed”, but at what price? I know TONS of major Trump supporters who are seriously losing faith in this administration already.
Key examples: cluster debacle on the Epstein files non-release (of super old info and then super redacted to boot), followed up by telling us whatever else they decide to eventually release will be massively redacted too.
Kash comes out on his first day in office strongly defending “the good men and women of the FBI” instead of closing FBI headquarters and turning it into a museum, as he previously talked about. Then we see RFK Jr. promoting Measles vax, etc.
I don’t think the issue has to do with people being impatient or irrational about things - it’s about commitments cabinet members made, then they went completely back on their word.
People are sick and tired of being misled and duped - and they voted (for Trump) so that shit would stop, yet they’re seeing more of that same crap already from key members of this new Cabinet.
In business or politics, your “brand” is everything - and several key Cabinet members have already severely damaged their brand and trustworthiness. It’s easy to destroy your brand (i.e., Budweiser), but it’s super difficult to restore/rebuild it.
He'll probably get a consulting gig on CNN or similar network like Andrew McCabe and other scumbags.
No, because when someone resigns they get to keep all their pension / life-long pay / benefits. Whereas "fired” - especially "for cause" puts some perks in jeopardy (at least in theory), if anyone in govt. is ever treated as we 'unwashed peasants' are anyway.
No doubt! I'm so sick of eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeveryone in our fed. govt. who's been held accountable on any microscopic level just getting fired (big fucking whoop) or even allowed to resign (which means pensions, life-long payday, plus benefits - like Peter Strzok). When is this 2-tiered justice system EVER going to END?!? :-(
I'd also think that Gov. DeSantis would have HAD to be informed of the disgusting FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago (which he obviously didn't prevent), as well as having the ability to prevent 'extradition' from FL to another state for all the bogus charges brought against Trump in Atlanta and NYC. Even if Trump would have rejected an intervention, DeSantis never even spoke up or offered to intervene on ANYTHING (at least that I recall).
That's exactly what keeps irritating the crap outta me too. Bondi keeps talking about "documents" - the effing flight logs were available 7 or so years ago WITHOUT redactions. Yet this chick was apparently 'duped'(?) into thinking that 200 pages of "documents" - which, when she 'released' them were mega redacted - was the sum of all parts? How could she possibly be that ignorant, given her previous job?
She knew Epstein had not one but TWO criminal cases worth of files (which those alone would consist of hundreds of pages each), PLUS all the tangible evidence confiscated from FOUR different residences. Did she never hear about ANY of the evidence collected at the time of Epstein's most recent arrest? Did she not follow that story at all?
She HAD to have known there were mounds of blackmail video and audio recordings, plus lots of passports, valuables in the safes, bizarro paintings all over, and God only knows what kind of torture devices or 'kill room' contents or crematory equipment or shallow graves of victims may have been found too. And what about the vehicles (e.g., ambulance / submarine / helicopter / boat / golf carts / cars) on the island and other properties? Wouldn't the vehicles have been confiscated and scrubbed for evidence (and victims' DNA) too?
Bondi playing dumb (like she didn't KNOW there was tons more evidence that's missing) or that she got 'duped' on this makes her look totally incompetent either way. Or worse - it could even indicate she's an active participant in the decades-long cover-up of all this shit. No matter how you slice it, she's off to a REALLY rocky start. If this Cabinet were competing on The Apprentice, then Bondi would be the FIRST contestant getting fired, IMO.
Every "Boomer" that I know is MAGA/Trump all the way.
I went shopping at 5 stores today JUST because of their 'boycott against removing DEI' crap.
I'm a bit surprised that POTUS didn't call out during this heated exchange that Zelenskyy isn't even REALLY Ukraine's President anymore - for, what, a year now? That would have made it even spicier, IMO.
Wouldn't new elections in Ukraine take months? They take several months in the U.S. I would HIGHLY doubt that Pres. Trump wants to wait until summer (for Ukraine elections) before locking down a peace deal/ceasefire, especially after he said repeatedly that he "would end that war before he even stepped foot in office."
Sadly, POTUS already has egg on his face bigly from that unfulfilled promise. In this instance, I'd think Trump would be more interested in speed ending the bloodshed on both sides vs. perfection of whatever 'deal' is made.
As we know, you can't just tell them - you must SHOW them. That's why the 9/11 psy-op was so incredibly successful. The American public was absolutely flooded with relentless videos and images of the destruction and devastation. It worked on the vast majority of people - and that gaslighting op was so perfect, it has held up for over 20 years because those visuals and trauma were so vivid. Nothing short of that level of "seeing it" will suffice, IMO.
Wow is Flynn incredibly out of touch. He said that they "tried to kill Trump TWICE!" I know of around 25 attempts, just from events that were video recorded and/or reported on at the time - not counting the God knows how many we haven't even heard about on top of that.
That was sooooooo awesome when POTUS did that! Here's links to that video clip, in case anyone missed it:
