OMG - now it’s up around 10 appointments that make me sick. One or two horrible picks (especially for SoS) is upsetting enough, but this is WAY beyond acceptable.

How in the world is Pres. Trump making the same TERRIBLE mistake (terrible decisions on key Cabinet positions) that he made in his first administration? He has said over and over that he learned from that mistake & wouldn’t repeat it. Well, guess what - he’s repeating it.

I’m disgusted by all this and absolutely can’t believe we’re witnessing him surround himself with a bunch of terrible, untrustworthy, and downright unworthy people to be in a lot of pivotal positions AGAIN!!!!

What in the actual fuck is going on?!?!? And please don’t pitch the tired line about “it’s to shine a spotlight on them to expose them” - we already know who the bad guys are and Trump is handing them the keys and a permission slip to sabotage and derail his next administration. It’s like the fucking Groundhog Day movie!

At this point, I’m starting to question if he’s THAT ignorant about how dangerous some of these people are that he’s surrounding himself with, then is that innocent incompetence or is something more nefarious going on?

There’s too damn many DS players being put into critical cabinet roles to excuse it or look the other way anymore. I never thought I’d ever feel this way, but I’m actually losing faith now.

This is way too many bad cabinet picks to be some sort of accident or oversight or “listening to bad advice” (his excuse last time). Nobody in his position could be THIS dense the second time around - something is seriously wrong here, IMO. I’m very distraught and distressed about all this.

I’ve been LIVING for President Trump’s triumphant return and getting to watch the dismantling of the Deep State upon his return to office. It’s literally the only reason I’ve been fighting to survive all this time. But now, I’m not seeing any of that beautiful victory for our country and humanity even being plausible, based on so many saboteurs he’s lining up to undermine anything he wants to do.

Yes, I do appreciate that. I’d go one step further than ‘having a simple life’ and say, I would rather be a (loved) dog. They don’t stress out about anything - they’re blissfully unaware that nuclear war may break out any moment, they don’t worry about being able to buy food, pay rent, keep the utilities on, or even need a car. They’re perfectly content just barking at stuff, sniffing around the yard, or chewing on a toy - every day is easy and fun for them. And all they do is look adorable and get snuggled and petted. That would be such a better life than what we humans have, IMO.

You got a deal. :-) I think I need to find myself a major diversion too. Too many of the people in this new administration (including Vance) have me in a tailspin. :-( It’s literally getting me sick to my stomach and I’ve been having lots of trouble sleeping over all this too.

I’ll keep praying that there’s a wonderful spot awaiting Gaetz. But basically I’m throwing up blood over Pam Bondi as AG.

I’m not buying into this “put them in the spotlight and reveal how bad they are” shit anymore. We’ve had 8 years of that stuff already. And we damn sure didn’t need Gaetz being nominated as AG in order to “smoke out the RINOs in the Senate” either. His RINO adversaries in the Senate are all known players and the ‘usual suspects.’

It’s not some big revelation to discover that McConnell, Murkowski, and Susan Collins were hold-outs against Gaetz’s nomination, for God’s sake - those are the first 3 RINO Senator names that come to mind right off the bat, IMO.

Something else must be going on, but I haven’t figured out what it is. I trust President Trump on 99% of his actions, but the one area (the 1%) that he’s proven to suck at is picking the right (and totally trustworthy) people for incredibly important cabinet positions.

There’s already a handful of picks that I’m sickened by. Maybe I need to just stop looking at the cabinet roster because it’s upsetting me nearly every day. I truly believed that Pres. Trump wasn’t going to make the same mistake this time around re: shitty cabinet appointees.

He’s said publicly many times that his one regret about his first administration was choosing the wrong people for key roles and that NOW he knows who the good people are and he won’t repeat that mistake this time around. I beg to differ - and I’m downright shocked by it.

I didn’t think he’d put in so many bad people AGAIN! He’s had 4 years to find the absolute best people and yet he gives us Bondi as AG, effing Rubio as SOS, along with people like friggin’ Dr. Oz, and Vivek (who told a GOP primary voter on video that voting for Trump is basically putting Trump’s life in danger). This is starting to make me feel ill.

You’re right. However, there’s some extended period time that Gaetz agreed to not return to Congress tied to his resignation announcement on the House floor. Dang it - I wish I could remember what exact number of months it was. Will have to look that up later - too tired right now.

I’m trying to see something good that could come out of this, but it seems like Gaetz won’t be pursuing any OTHER Cabinet position (such as FBI Director) for the same reason (Senators blocking his approval). So that just leaves Rubio’s seat in the Senate to nab or some non-leadership role that doesn’t require Senate confirmation. Either of those options pale by comparison re: the Justice delivery wrecking ball potential he could have brought as Atty. General, IMO.

Totally agree. The skip in my step disappeared as soon as Gaetz withdrew from the AG nomination. I don’t think he’s even going to be able to get his House seat back (despite being re-elected) because of some extended length of time he can’t be reinstated.

Not sure what the timeframe was (I don’t recall the exact number of days/months), but when I first heard Gaetz’s resignation being read out loud on the House floor, there was an extended period of time that he agreed to re: not serving in Congress upon his departure.

I’m so friggin’ bummed about this - to lose Gaetz in Congress AND as the upcoming Atty. General within just a few days is such a huge blow IMO. Praying that Pres. Trump finds another impactful spot for Gaetz - he’s too valuable to lose!

Taking Rubio’s Senate seat would be okay, but being one of 100 Senators wouldn’t give him the ‘transformative change agent’ latitude that being the AG would be. This whole thing is really kicking me in the gut. Gaetz is my absolute fave member of Congress - EVER! :-(

WTAF?!? Bondi for AG, are you effing KIDDING ME?!? She's not fit to shine Gaetz's shoes and damn sure not someone who would TAKE OUT THE TRASH in the mega-corrupt DOJ or prosecute the Deep State. What the hell is going on?!?

We need MAGA action on DAY ONE of Trump's new administration - not "hey, let's allow this (yet another) DS stooge to screw around and muck up everything for a year or two and sabotage bringing any kind of justice while all the statute of limitations expire on every major case so we can slow-roll 'expose their corruption' bullshit again."

I'm not just heart-broken over Gaetz abandoning his bid for AG, I'm heart-broken that he already RESIGNED from Congress too. If Gaetz isn't put into the AG slot via recess appointments or if he's not put into Rubio's vacated Senate seat (or some other amazing slot), I'm gonna just come unglued.

Out of ALL the picks in Pres. Trump's new administration, Gaetz as AG is - by far - the one I've been the most elated about, until this whammy happened. I've been inconsolable ever since the news broke that he withdrew.

I doubt you'll find anyone here who doesn't believe in the MERITS of the Brunson brothers' SCOTUS cases and I'm pretty sure we all would have LOVED to have seen something come of them. But their cases been shut down repeatedly (denied and denied again) by the SCOTUS, despite getting docketed for consideration (only discussed in conference by the Justices - but never got approved to move forward to trial).

My understanding (but I'm not a lawyer) is that there's a limited number of tries anyone has to be granted a SCOTUS case hearing/trial - one can't just keep trying forever. According to everything I've seen on the SCOTUS dockets and from interviews I've seen with the plaintiffs in these cases, the Brunson cases have been exhausted with the SCOTUS, and unfortunately without ever getting their cases moved to an actual trial.

Here's a few links about this that may be helpful:

Stephen Miller is who I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally wish Pres. Trump had chosen as his VP. He's battle-tested, tried and true, with unwaivering loyalty since 2015, and a top advisor to Trump since the beginning of his first campaign.

How about the FEC (Federal Elections Commission)? Haven't heard anything on that one yet. Wondering if someone who's gotten effed over by corrupt/stolen elections (repeatedly) will be put in charge of overhauling our immensely broken election system... someone like perhaps Kari Lake.

And wasn't Dougie kissing Dr. Jill on camera at the DNC Convention (or some type of Dem Lib event)? I seem to recall seeing that, but can't nail down the time/place.

I tracked down the video clip re: where Bannon said this 'cuz I was so excited about the Q-related quote. Bannon kinda 'flubbed his line' when he was saying it, but the message was still effective.

Yes, the skin on the hands. People can get face lifts and plastic surgery to look younger in the face, but hands are much more of a 'tell' re: age (unless they're covered in makeup or other camouflaging method).

Hmmmm, I've never heard that one anywhere before - that's quite an odd assessment, IMO. Wonder why GEOTUS would be symbolically calling "Biden" a woman by doing his handshake like that? LOL - it's funny to think about anyway! There are many things we could call faux "Biden", but "woman" is not one of them, IMO. Interesting take on the weird handshake though. Thanks for chiming in. :-)

Oh, I'm 100% with you re: Biden having body double(s) - I think there's at least 3 of them paraded around for various purposes. Absolutely no way the Joe Biden(s) we see on TV is the original/real Joe Biden, IMO.

I'm thrilled that both Dan Scavino and Stephen Miller (my top 2 most trusted Trump allies) are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up there in 'all day every day' access to our POTUS again.

Just for clarification on the list re: Scavino's and Miller's titles - here's what Pres. Trump said their roles will be (as well as for Blair & Budowich):

• Dan Scavino: Asst. to the President & Deputy Chief of Staff

• Stephen Miller: Asst. to the President & Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy & Homeland Security Advisor

Here's the GEOTUS post on Truth Social where he lists them and their new job titles/roles: https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/113477113500861692

What I was floored by was the handshake when they were seated by the fireplace. Pres. Trump LET "Biden" have the upper/dominant hand position. I was like, "WTF is happening here?!?" I still have no idea why on earth that could have ever happened. Did anyone else's eyes pop out of their sockets when you saw that handshake?

For reference, here's a photo of that bizarro handshake between GEOTUS & "Biden" where Trump's hand is in the submissive/lower position: https://people.com/joe-biden-donald-trump-white-house-meeting-melania-declined-invite-8744519
